Considering its a snapdragon 675 processor and it can support gcam! To produce improved high quality photos esp. on low light you can use night sight using gcam maybe it will improve the quality at night!

They are not complaining. There's a current race between brands for the best screen-to-body ratio. Ideally we would reach 100% (no bezel). And the fact that the S10 got a slightly better screen to body ratio might be an incentive to spend more (even if it's a small one).

Yeah, i just got A70, also had S8, previously, which cost a lot more! S8, great no doubt, but not massive difference in everyday use, A70, is also great phone, and at the price....dont think you can go far wrong...Recommended! 🤗🇬🇧👍

I own a galaxy S8 and a Pixel 3 XL, i want to switch the galaxy s8 should i get this phone or go for a note 8?Since i already got the best camera i don't really need a camera phone but im sure the a70 snaps better pictures then s8 and note 8. Pay attention to battery percentage indicator throughout the video. 4:26, 11:42 looks like its draining pretty fast. (he keeps charging the phone at few points to make it look like the percentage stays at 67-64% it seems.) I know perhaps he filmed the video at different times and edited it later. but explain me the battery drainage which is happening real time in this video. by the way im not a specialist lol.

I'm curious about the LTE not working on TMobile. Which version of the A70 did you get? From some research it look like the model meant for the Latin America market has bands 2, 4, 5, 12 and 66 which is most of what Tmobile uses. I think the model number for that is the A705M, but not 100% sure. The global versions are something like an A705FN.

I believe you are correct. The A705M is more recently introduced and claims to support full LTE in the U.S. on TMobile and AT&T, where the A705FN did not.

The fingerprint sensor on this phone is an optical fingerprint scanner. It isn't a ultrasonic fingerprint sensor unlike the S10 series. So just tapping on the area of the fingerprint isn't going to 100% grant you access. You're required to press a little harder rather than just tapping it if not the sensor is unable to read your fingerprint.

Got the phone about a week ago and it's been going great but only main issue I have is the fingerprint sensor. The finger print looks ok in videos but its really slow in reality and the other issue is the micro scratches you can get on the back however the 4500 Mah battery lasts all day and gaming is very smooth and lag free also the camera are decent as well

Then update your software immediately for faster fingerprint sensor and no more touch issues. I have a70 too but then i always check if there is an available software coming out. Always check the settings and download the software immediately

I'm curious which version Nick got if it's not supporting 4G LTE on T-Mobile. The Latin American version (sold by B&H) is supposed to be fully compatible with T-Mobile 4G LTE. I have read that you can't use the India model in the US.

I broke my S8 and now I got my hands on the A70 for only €240,-. Really comparable so far. I actually like it being plastic so at least it can't break. The battery life is insane and the screen is big. On screen fingerprint scanner is not so accurate but hey, at least it's on the screen. Really decent phone. Concidering it only cost me 240 euro, I have to say it is a massive yes from me. :)

I think the thing about 'tapping' on the fingerprint sensor is for the Galaxy S10 Series since they use ultra-sonic fingerprint scanners as opposed to the optical scanne on the A70. For the A70, you have to hold your finger on the scanner for a second rather than simply tapping.

I think it was an overall problem even the A50 used to have. There's been a patch in the meantime and from what I've heard it now works way better. And people have protection glass on it and it even works, so I think it was less of a screen than a software problem.
