I love this phone and it is my first android device..Upgrade it to 2.3.6..I am using this a few months ago and the only downside of this device is sometimes it is very laggy and the app drawer is not transparent unlike other phones :(

i m using this ace, its touch screen experience is really awesome........it has 3.5 G... i m not sure about video calling facility......rest the phone is nice it has so many application from android market.. including the Indian constitution appl. all compatible with this set.....its around 14k in delhi... a r shankar, delhi

hey .. do we need to make playlists for songs on this device ? or it gets auto updated when music files are added to it ? asking 'coz i've used a few samsung phones in which u have to create playlists and max u can put is 100 songs ... and its not continuous play .. pls let me know .. thanks ....

@JocJav if you are looking for iphone 4 killer in the same price range than i would recommend galaxy s2 as the first choice as it is the best phone out there other wise look at phones like htc sensation lg optimus 2x or xperia arc.

I chose it over LG Optimus 1 cuz its greater but if youre on budget optimus' a great one too. Galaxy Ace is my 2nd smartphone.

This phone seems to be one of those that tech-reviewers either complain about or appreciate alot. Complaints have been maid about the poor resolution and ram. I was just about to buy it since they have a very good offer on tre.se here in Sweden. Seeing alot of reviews though i'm a little bit anxious that i won't meet my expectations. For one i would like to play some games on the new smartphone i finally purchase but i also think that Iphone or the newer HTC Sensation are just to expensive. .

I just bought this phone couple of days ago! superb phone!! and BTW I have heard that ace has gorilla glass !! there are couple of videos on you tube showing the test and in the gorilla glass site also they say ace is also one of devices using gorilla. @JocJav it is good but it depends what you are looking for in a phone i would certainly say go for a dual core device as it will future proof your phone there are lots of dual core phones popping up so it extends the future life of your phone as it wont get outdated soon. also on the htc inspire 4g i have heard the battery sucks and the screen is not that good compared to the new devices like Amoled or Nova screen in samsung and lg devices the colours and the contrast ratio is way better

I dont think so because if you read some reviews they will proberly say the same thing as me. Yeh thats the thing i like the way som phones look but half of time they aint that good i would get a better Samsung , i like my Blackberry's so i have got a Blackberry Bold at moment.

my friend has this phone. it hangs a lot and has a very poor battery life...not sure if others who own this phone are also having same problem or not...but the features in this price range is too good in this phone...

@iGyaan galaxy ace does nt have a search button but there is an other alternative for that in the home screen just press the menu button and the search button comes up on the bottom right of the screen

@blackpagon It's not the amount of pixels that make your picture turn out nice. But it's the size of the camera lens :) since the lens is not that realy big, the pictures are actually very nice.

It costs around 12k now. So best value for money device. I own it and have no issues. Now the processor speed also have been increased and with 2.3.6 gingerbread with 2.3.7 update :)

had this phone , just sold it. battery life is not good if u like to listen to music and surf the net. An certain videos cant play on the phone, Hope this helps!
