I bought this laptop after seeing it has oled and was so disappointed at 1080p. The diagonal mouse looked like a step ladder with the clearly visible pixels. I took it back within 24 hours. A horrible display that is the same ppi as the 2nd gen ipod touch! Think about that.

I've had it for a week and it has exceeded my expectations so far. The speakers are great once you enable Dolby Atmos (why this is disabled by default is beyond me), and the brightness can be increased a lot by going into the Intel Graphics driver settings and turning up the default brightness from the default 38 out of 100. It's so light and portable, I've been enjoying it a lot.

Yeah I just bought this laptop because I was getting frustrated using the Macbook Air. I got gas-lighted into buying one and I hated the Mac OS system. You need to right click on the power-point at the note section if you want to disable bullet points. Windows system doesn't do that it just allows you whenever to put bullet points or whenever to write free notes. You don't understand how effective my studying has been since I bought this - or any other laptop that just runs windows.

How do you feel 4 months in? I'm thinking of buying it now, saw online that the keyboard is pretty flimsy. What do you think? Also how's the tablet experience? I'm starting university next year and plan on using it to take notes alot

I don't know, it's so woobly, and the TouchPad is very inconsistent. Heats up really fast, bottom firing speakers. It's very portable, & s pen support, that are the only good thing I think it has.

Show us what it looks and performs like as a tablet in portrait orientation as well It is a “2 - in - 1” after all. What’s with all these videos showing 2-in-1s but fail to show and demonstrate the other part of the “1 in 1”?

That glossy screen is terrible, though. Even just during this video it's annoying af. I know the studio lighting makes it worse, but I saw it in store, too and the reflections are just horrible. I can't fathom how any sane designer would ever come up with making such a glossy display???

Samsung needs to advertise this product like chromebooks are becoming more popular. Samsung should go after Chrome book, Microsoft, HP, DELL meanwhile, coming after mackbook should bring Samsung s short term goal as Mackbook is no comparison without pen support n touch impact its a shame were in 2022 n apple not releasing touch input is 100% a shame n Mackbook is jist not a comparison this is much better in most of the ways.

First let me say, thank you for the wonderful review. With special note to the mention of working with all the updates. I have been watching and reading reviews regarding the SBP 15 inch for some time now and from all I can tell, this is one of the best 2&1 laptops for 2021. And the advantage of improving on my Samsung ecosystem makes this a absolute dream machine. I would like to wait for the 32 gig option. I hope it is made available for the US soon. If not I would look at the 16gig 1T configuration. For my requirements, I am replacing a Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Which has been excellent use for work and entertainment that sold me on the 2&1 form factor of design. As I have slowly entered the Samsung Galaxy world of products, I have become a real fan. With my Galaxy phone, Watch and Tablet already present, with my impression of these products as some of the very best of the best in the world bar none. It only seems logical to continue with Samsung Galaxy and purchase a new laptop from them as well. I had pretty much concluded that the new Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15 inch was my best new computer replacement option for me. But your review helped to finalize my decision. Again thank you for such a informative review.

BEST REVIEW of this 2-in-1... I've been having a hard time deciding on which graphics/video/music production laptop to buy for my home recording and KZbin studio and this laptop has been at the top of the list but the the screen resolution kept me away from it... until now! I think it's worth the drawbacks of higher screen resolution and meager speaker performance for the size, weight and flexibility (it's practically a giant tab with super powers)... especially for the pen to paper feel you describe so well. The trade offs between this and other machines on the market might be higher performance, but That's what I have my desktop monster machine and high Res screen for, this is for on the couch and on the go! I will be picking it up at Best Buy for the "guaranteed" best price through the holidays they're offering, probably with the Samsung earbuds and the extra terabyte SD card card. AND...considering we just upgraded our android phones to the Samsung S21 Ultras with "free" Watch 4s, integrating into that environment is gonna be awesome! I guess the only thing I'm missing is a 70" Samsung 4K TV. Thanks again, really great job on this review! 😎🎸🎹⌨👨‍💻👨‍🎨🎨🖼

Thanks for your updated review. I've been going crazy wondering why I love this machine when so many reviewers have just quickly dismissed it and concentrated on the few negative things. I've been checking your channel weekly to see if you had expanded on your initial impressions, so was glad to find it! There have been many updates since its release that have optimized its features and performance. Unfortunately, many reviewers use it for a day or 2 and never follow up, and are unaware of the updates or just hate Samsung and dismiss it. I found it interesting when watching info about Windows 11 that many of its forthcoming features are ideas already somewhat present in this machine. Let's hope Samsung continues to build this Galaxy branded computer series!

I was on the fence about getting this device since so many reviewers implied directly and indirectly that it wasn't worth it. Only a few (at most 3) reviewers including this one praised it. I personally feel that those early "it isn't worth it" type of reviews were a result of either, getting pre-final batches, they didn't update the device thoroughly, or just got a bad device. But after much reading, viewing videos and actual hands on research, I finally got the 360 Pro. I actually got two of them, one for myself and one for the spouse. So with owners suggestions and patience, I did all the updates and made a few system changes that make the screen brighter, and sound better, etc. One unit replaces my spouses 2018 HP Envy 360 which was slow, heavy and just a pain to work with and the 2nd unit replaces my 2017 Samsung Galaxy Notebook 9 Pro (which I still feel is an awesome device with the built in S-Pen) but I wanted something newer, faster. The two 360's have quick boot up, and no under carriage setting off the touch pad issues. No sign of creaks, and so far no Wi-Fi disconnects. Both the Notebook 9 Pro had on occasion but HP Envy continuously had wi-fi issues. The fan did kick in once when I was running code on a huge Excel file, but it sounded less than my previous laptop fan. The spouse 360 is connected to 2 external monitors using a Plugable hub and stays at home and my 360 is connected to 3 monitors also using a Plugable dock hub both at work and home. While the keyboard is fine and will come in handy when I travel with its numeric touch keys (even without the + and - buttons). I usually keep the unit in tablet mode on a stand both at home and work and use an external mouse and keyboard. I usually face a window so the screen is fine. If the window was behind me then brightness may be an issue. I certainly don't use my laptops outside in the sun. Sound is fine (after users recommended adjustments), but I usually plug in a headphone for better sound anyway. Ironically, I can pair my LG V60 ThinkQ dual screen mobile phone to the 360 using the Your Phone app. This never worked on my Notebook 9 Pro. Photoshop, Office both work very well. While I am not a graphic artist by any means, I do dabble once in a while and certainly use the stylus for work applications. The S-Pen on the Notebook 9 Pro was very good and storable but too thin. The 360 S-Pen is great but no place to store it. The Noris Classic and Jumbo pens also work, as any previous S-Pen or EMR pen. So far everything I did on the Notebook 9 Pro (with or without issues) has worked flawlessly on the 360. I can honestly say I'm impressed.

@@YeFansMalaysia yeah I know it's long, but I figure it may help anyone in the same situation. As for the present time. I've since replaced my 3 monitors to a 49" one and added a external gpu and so far no issues except for 1 strange thing. A few weeks ago, my spouses 360 got a Samsung bios update that stopped the 360 from turning on. Eventually after a few hours, it started up again. It seems the update will not complete and until the battery is drained it won't start up. A few days later, my 360 got the update and did the same thing. But instead I open the back, disconnected the battery and the update completed. Closed the back, and so far no issues.

Very good review. I agree with everything mentioned in the video. For certain, I will be getting a Book Pro 360, but I'm waiting a bit to see if Samsung does indeed deliver on their press release about offering a 32GB version. I read it will be available in August. If not, then I'll get the 16GB version then. Regardless, for the next generation, they should upgrade the screen (for those that want a 4K version), a place to store the pen (ala Dell with their in-between the laptop placement) and a better resolution webcam. Maybe re-include the dual function touchpad / wireless charger like the previous Flex version had. Then the name of "Pro" will fit perfectly.

Buy the 360 pro 13.3, 16gb and 512 gb rom and it is a great experience because I have the Note 20 Ultra and a Tab S7 plus and all is working together as one, the complement between the devices is great and the s-pen works with all of them!! No like the pen that you also pay extra(for a cheap imitation of the real S-pen we use for many years) from the Fold 3, and for less money than the Fold 3 I bought the 360 pro to upgrade my Samsung eco system! I came up with 2 finalists: the Samsung Galaxy Pro 360 16Gb and the Spectre x360 16Gb Amoled 4k GeForce 1650Ti, both 15.6". I bought both. I already received the Spectre and while I wait for the Galaxy Im using it. I am already in love with the screen and the keyboard. I will only keep one. Question for you. I'm considering this to replace my ancient 2010 HP laptop and Samsung Chromebook Pro. You addressed heat output, which is great. I plan on using this primarily as my desktop computer (but easily able to go mobile with it, too), connected to a large monitor, but not necessarily wanting the notebook open as a second screen very often. First question: can I wake and sleep the computer without opening it up? Second question: Will this suffice for HD and 4k drone/dji pocket video editing and Photoshop/LR work, as well as minecraft and coding programs? Obviously not simultaneously. I didn't want to have to default to a heavy gaming laptop for decent performance. My old hp laptop is 5 lbs as it is, and it kills my weak wrists to pick up and move! Thanks!

Just some constructive criticism: far too many adjectives. Other than the repitition, good review. I can't wait to get one. I've done loads of research as there are so many unannounced refreshes of already several products in the "Samsung Book" model series, along with the limited info marketing advertisements that Samsung puts out and most of the news outlets repeat. Anyways, I am super happy this was a review on the exact i7 with Iris Xe 96EUs Graphics and not Iris Xe Graphics @ 80EUs--from what I can gather from it's other specs, anyways. lol. Needless to say, differentiating from a crowd of minor unannounced refreshes in the same year types of products, it is certainly a challenge to find any media, reviews or more info on it.

re: stowing the pen - how much would it cost to replace an easily lost pen? A simple loop for the pen on the edge of the laptop somewhere would be an obvious solution. But, i guess that would spoil the aesthetics. But, after a while of use, the threat of paying to replace a pen is more significant than aesthetics.

Its a nice middle ground i think for both apple and samsung fans. I can get most of the benefits of windows, samsung devices and ios in a single device. Its decently thin and light convertible, good battery life and being a laptop some good power. I can run full fat windows programs rather than the mobile app versions, still enjoy my purchased apple music through itunes and the cream on the cake is the spen(with wacom emr which i love) and samsung notes(which i love for note taking). Wouldn’t mind if apple considered making a convertible macbook air with apple pencil support but for now this is a good stand in device

The Digital Digest I rewatched your video and I want to thank you again, because your review of the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 was key in my research. I am in the Samsung ecosystem with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy Watch and Samsung M7 32-inch Smart Monitor. I mention this because prior the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 I was not interested in Samsung at all when it comes to thin and light laptops. In fact, the choice that I considered for purchase was finalized down to two Windows thin and light laptops, the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 and Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6. For my requirements, these two premium products were the best of the best in their respective categories. Granted the Surface Pro 8 and ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6 have advantages over each other. And that can also be said about the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360. The Surface Pro 8 tablet form factor is a preference I have and X1 Yoga 2in1 business port selection and keyboard still the gold standard in my book. But in my end analysis, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch won over with its best in class build quality thin and light design, 15-inch Super AMOLED display, battery life and management, keyboard with dedicated numeric key integration (on the15-inch model only), best in class ultra-thin keyboard feel and responsiveness and Samsung’s ecosystem integration software and services. Well after comparing my three finalists, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch edged out the competition for purchase. I should state that any of my laptop finalist would make a superb replacement for my Surface Pro 3. However, based on my requirements the Galaxy Book Pro 360 was the best laptop solution. I purchased the Mystic Navy 15-inch Core i7 with 16 gigabyte of memory and 1 terabyte of storage. I have been using this premium laptop for several days now and all I can say is WOW! The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 15-inch has exceeded my expectations. Now, I understand that coming from a six plus year old Microsoft Surface Pro 3, other new modern 11th Intel gen computers will seem super-fast and feature rich. But there really is something special about the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro series and in particular the Galaxy Book Pro 360. I say this and I would recommend seeing the Galaxy Book Pro 360 in person to get the full effect of this thin and light design, it is very impressive. Again, thank you for your review.

If you want a pc experience, get the laptop. Drawing, tab s7+. However, I think that the book pro 360 is better than the tab s7+ at drawing because of its larger screen and screen itself

Good review. One big negative is the design of the numeric keypad. The keys are smaller and closer together. Also it does not have "+" and "enter" key to the right of the numbers like a typical calculator. This is where the 15 inch HP Spectre has this beat hands down. Samsung should consider removing this poorly designed keypad. As a result it poor for doing fast numeric input in spreadsheets and other applications that use numeric input. Your review should have caught this. Would not buy this for this reason.

Mine is being delivered tomorrow. I have the Galaxy note 9 and think it's the best thing since buttered bread! Mine will have Windows 11 pre installed and I am wondering about Android apps, specifically Snapseed. Does anyone have any experience running that on the Pro360? I notice the Canon lens in the back, I shoot a Nikon D850 and the files are substantial. I have to admit I wrote the first part of this while watching this video and got nervous at the end, should I be?

Hi love the review. What would you say to someone who's been using a macbook air for 7 years and is planning on getting this laptop for the Samsung ecosystem, pen input etc. but is waiting to see if the new MacBook air 2021 (which I believe is coming out 4th quarter of this year) has just better performance overall?

Depends on how much power you need. If you're planning on doing regular student stuff, this is probably the machine you want. If you need extra power for gaming or serious video or music editing, or you need to be able to throw your laptop around, go with the spectre. Or if you want 4k, which is a nice bonus but not necessary for the average person.

@@thewaffle003thank you, yeah i'm a student, my only doubt Is on the screen ratio i prefer 3:2
@thewaffle003
@thewaffle003 3 жыл бұрын
@@chillwithothers987 Makes sense. It's totally up to you. The 3:2 aspect ratio is definitely interesting. If it makes you feel any better, I have a 2020 spectre 15t and it is an absolutely knockout machine. Not sure if you can get the same chip in the 14t (mine has a 10750H), but if you can, it'll definitely do you well. I kinda like the lightness of the SGP, though. It's all about what you need Edit: just looked it up. You can't get more than the 1165G7 on the 14t, so it's really if you want more wide screen real estate or less "tall" screen real estate. The 14t also comes slightly sharper. I'd probably go with the SGP
