I'd buy this laptop, but problem is my Galaxy Book Flex (2021) still functions as well as it did on Day 1! Would recommend these laptops to anyone, especially if you have a Samsung phone and can use Quick Share etc between the two devices.

This looks like a really good laptop for students as you can turn it into a tablet for note taking like math where u can't really take notes on a keyboard and still have a laptop for other things. I use my Tab S7FE for note taking at uni and it's absolutely great for it. I wouldn't be able to come back to paper right now to be honest.

@@aryansinha6667 depends where do you need it. I think it would be worse for me to note on that as most of my lecture halls don't have enough desk space for it. I mean when I take there my S7FE which is like 12.4" it slightly sticks out from the table vertically. To me S8 ultra seems kinda overkill for an android device, id rather pick this galaxy book 3 if you can use it comfortably and want more efficency.

Can't wait to unbox mine tomorrow :D You're the second reviewer I've heard say the GB3 Pro 360 is available with 32 GB RAM, yet that is not the case on Samsung's pre-order page, or anywhere in their spec matrix. This laptop currently maxes out at 16GB with the i7 processor. Did they send out 32GB units to tech reviewers/bloggers, or was this a gaffe?

Samsung is going right after apple. It's capitalising on apples lack of innovation. I'm finding myself being pulled from the apple ecoyswhich literally hasn't changed for years. Samsung are exciting and bring us more intuitive products. I'll not be loyal to apple anymore unless they pull their fingers out and give us something new

Yep. I sold my M1 Max MacBook Pro and moved over to a Dell XPS when I found out most of my creativity workflow doesn't run natively on Apple's new ARM garbage. I also have a lot of $$ invested in 3rd party plugin software whose devs were caught flat-footed when Apple decided to go back to the bad old days of proprietary silicon. Not cool. The new GalaxyBook 3 Ultra is probably closer to my dream machine right now, but I'm nabbing one of these for tablet and light productivity work until my XPS sh-ts the bed. Between these ultrabooks and the vastly superior camera hardware and software in their flagship phones, Samsung are eating Apple's lunch on bang-for-the-buck.

The Galaxy Book 2 has not been out for 12 months yet. I don't think you can go wrong with what you have bought. The Book 2 got criticised for not having 16:9 ratio and only HD screen, so they have corrected this.

Yes, you can wake the device by tapping. Since the fingerprint reader wouldn't be accessible, you would enter your 4 digit PIN.

I had a MAJOR issue with the Samsung Book 360. My screen cracked twice as well. The first time, I had it repaired because I had insurance. The second time, it cracked again without any physical impact or adjustments on my part. As a result, I sued the seller and won the case in court. The seller was ordered to refund the full cost of the device plus interest. So, if you are considering taking legal action due to this screen issue, you have a very strong case. I hope this helps. And by the way, the seller will also have to cover the legal costs, so don't hesitate to take action.

Love these laptops. Do you have any thoughts on getting the Book3 Pro 360 vs Book3 Pro? I'm torn. The touch might be nice, and being able to put the Pro 360 into a tent over the gear shift of my care while sitting and using my car as a mobile workstation, but I don't see myself needing the pen. Are their any differences other than the touch and pen and 360 fold? For instance, is the brightness in nits the same? Battery life the same? Does that vent I see at the backside hinge on the Pro 360 but not the Pro, is that relevant and why? Oh, and someone said the Pro 360 top when opened up beyond 90 degrees is loser and doesn't hold its position as well as the straight Pro does beyond 90 degrees, but only one said that so do you see that difference or as an issue? I ask because though I can't tent the Pro like the Pro 360, I can open the Pro up not to a full 180 degrees but most of that way, so I suspect I could open the Pro up fully, maybe 160 degrees or so, and rest it behind the gear shift leaning up against the dashboard of my suv, and find that position as useful as the tent over the gear shift, and maybe more so? Other?

Bought a Samsung Tab Pro S few years ago, clearly it was a beta product, tried making a windows tablet with their Tab S design, so super thin and light windows tablet. But that product was so trash, battery life was garbage, processor was some arm based thing i think, it was suuper slow, the provided keyboard cover was garbage, very plasticy and light keys with almost no travel, the only upside was the display itself was amoled. Since that device I vowed ti nvr buy a Samsung windows computer ever again, ill stick to their android stuff

I‘m still using a Macbook Pro from 2015 which is flawless, silent and has a great screen. Now the Galaxy Book finally has a better resolution which has nearly as many ppi as my old Macbook. I used iPhones but now Samsung phones offer so much more that‘s why I‘m wanting to switch. Unfortunately this laptop is not available in my country and the German price is too expensive. So maybe in half a year or a year the price might be reasonable. One question though: my Macbook is silent, I could never change to a Windows laptop where the fan is noticeable. Is it possible to have a silent galaxy book or does Windows still destroy a fanless experience?
