Hey guys, for everyone comments on the ANC test. I checked and the warning about needing the other bud in is just an idiot check. It's basically telling you that you'll hear outside sound if you don't have the other earbud in your ear (duh lol) BUT it does in fact still turn on ANC. And honestly I can tell you that in the test you can hear it just slightly kick on even but this is literally how I hear it when it's in my ears. I thought I had a defective unit but apparently it just doesn't do much at all. If you want ANC to block out any sound you'd need a different pair of earbuds 🤷‍♂️

You are not the first to confirm that ANC basically is a no go in these so one more added to the list. Nah I'll stay with my Airpods Pro in my S20 Ultra does the job just fine..

If you don't have both earbuds in, anc does NOT turn on. I know because I use them daily and hear the difference. They "fixed" the anc with software updates. I remember after updating the firmware I literally said "wow" out loud in public.

Please guys try to know how to wear them right. It took me almost 3 weeks to realize that I was wearing them wrong. I had to realize that the silicon tip that came with it was too small for me. I changed to the larger pair but still wore the buds wrongly. When I finally wore it right, I was like a deaf that heard sound for the first time. I was surprised how tightly and comfortable it sat. So tight, I slept with it, ran with it, yawned, chew, shook my head... 1. The silicone tip you choose is very important, don't just settle for the one that it came with. 2. Make sure the silicone surface is lying totally flat without any visible part peeking at you when you look at your ears. Note: My mistake was that the silicone was not totally flat, I was always seeing a portion of it. I hope I helped. This really, really fits. It's surprising!

Funny thing for you: my Galaxy Buds Live? Well, they don't particularly fit my left ear properly...but they definitely stay put. At least until the weird fit gets uncomfortably annoying and I have to take it out. (Very grateful that the S10+ has the headphone jack, so I can switch back to the wired buds that actually fit well)

If you had to go through all that, then that's A fail for samsung which is why the majority of reviews on the Live are negative. People don't want tdifficult to deal with products when there are more user friendly products available.

Got mine yesterday. The mic quality is definitely better than the previous models. Sound is also better. Definitely got a little bit more bass. Only cons is battery life on the beans. I can tell they reduced the battery capacity to add more boost to the sound quality. However, I can also tell they've increased the battery capacity on the case to make up for it. For me it was worth it

I tested mine with ANC on, and when mowing the lawn with a engine powered lawnmower. To my surprise, I was able to have a normal conversation regardless of lawnmower noise.

I hope you still answer comments, 2 questions. 1. Will they work with S9+ 2. How is the Audio Leak? Let's say a completely silent room and you play FULL Volume. How audible will it be for others? I'm not planning to listen at full volume but at work on breaks I sit in a quiet place and don't really want others walking by to hear the audio from them.

The bottom tio of the earbud is supposed to slightly reach into your ear and the top part should hook onto your ear if it doesn't that means their on wrong it should be hard to pull them out up to so you basically twist them to slide lock without shoving them in your ear hole just a heads up

That was low-key genius but one thing I noticed at 6:04 , it seems like the app need to have both buds operated at the same time to get active NC because it seems the feature don't do much when it's on or off. Or probably that's how the ANC system come out lol. Nevertheless, excellent video 🔥

about ANC I think that the noise is going directly to the tube where the microphone is connected.. you should isolate the microphone, the tube and the "inner" side of the fake ear. I suggest to construct a cube with sound insulation: the fake ear will be exposed on one side of the cube and the mic wire will come out on the other side of the cube. This is not only for ANC but also for sound quality.. BTW, nice video!

This test doesn't do them justice. I own them and the sound isn't even comparable and the noise cancelling is ok since the latest firmware update It still mostly blocks out lower frequency, and it's nice to know when a car is coming towards you. You here the higher frequency sounds of the car's wheels but not the awful engine rumble that is annoying. Edit: can you tell I'm happy with my purchase?

Honestly when I take them out I miss them, and when I have one in the bass makes earbdrum rattle which is dope. The phone quality is awesome 👌 👏 🙌 😎

Based on the aircon test with the music playing, the Galaxy Buds+ sounds thinnier. What you can try to do next time is to move the mic much more closer to the buds. If possible, the mic should be at least 1inch if not less an inch closer to the buds. Now I don't know the distance between whichever parts of of our ears that picks up the sound and the actual buds but the distance between the buds and the mic should be shorter/closer.

Probably the biggest flaw with the Live is that at higher listening levels, people can easily hear what you're listening to or your conversations. That's the fatal flaw of the on the ear design instead of in your ear.

Good review, there are 2 things I missed though 1. Is there any sound leakage? So if I am in a quiet space will people around me hear my music. 2. Can you hear the wind while cycling or running? I had that problem with the airpods but never with the original buds.

Great video! Love the review! Has anyone had any battery issues? I feel like I have a hole in my battery. From 100% battery, after an hour of use at maybe 20% volume with ANC off, my battery was at 80%. I charged them again and from 100%, they sat on my bed table for maybe 6 hours and lost 70% just sitting there. Defective? I sent them back to Samsung and hopefully pair #2 will be better 🤷🏾‍♂️

Actually it works really well since a firmware update. I use them daily and once I updated them I literally said wow out loud when I put them in. Also, you have to have both in for anc to activate. I often leave one in the case and anc disables. I put the second one in my ear and anc turns on noticeably. Edit: still mostly lower pitched sounds removed tho Edit 2: I bought these fully expecting 0 noise cancelling cause open design, but I was pleasantly surprised

I always turn of the Touch Control on my Buds + and Live since I'm constantly check if the Buds are still sitting snuck in my ear since they feel so comfortable( the Buds live even more so). I'm using the Buds Live now for the third day and will probably need a few weeks to get used to them. They sound amazing. What an upgrade from the Buds+.

So, idk if I'm doing this wrong or if my ears are too small, but if I put these buds in at all they kill my ears after about 40 minutes of use, and I'm begging to let the skin on my ear to just rest. Which kind of sucks, because music is how I keep myself stimulated, and I can't get new headphones soon due to a lack of money.

I wish you had touched on the Samsung Equalizer because changing it to Dynamic can actually change the listening experience, some say for the better. I know with my Buds+ I prefer Bass Boosted or Dynamic depending on what I am listening to.

Dude I really love your videos but my only takeaways from this video was that the battery life is good, and that ANC on this pair is rubbish. Only after I’ve read the comments that I realised the ANC test is flawed. Next time it would be really useful to know how do they actually sound like in various environments, what’s your take on the ANC, are they suitable for the GYM etc.

Nice video, congrats to the Mister, great content and great guy, it's a good kind of video, no matter of the device, I like it, for headphones, could you add different kind of music to test bass, Vocals, instrumental and see how this behave?. I see some are looking a way to show and test the headphones, hard endeavor I think, but I feel you are in the right path with this way, maybe the microphone should be one oriented for more general purpose than voice and a little bit more isolated from external influence out sounds (another tube or layer on the microphone side). Just thinking about it, not an expert.

My Buds Live have waaayyyy more bass than my Buds+. Not that the Buds+ has just no bass, because they do however I had always wished they had a little more thump. Thats what the Buds Live is alot more thump.

Not total noise cancelling which is unsafe when in public for many tasks and reasons. People constantly fail to understand the ANC on these. Which has made them cheaper now. So, I bought a second pair.

It works on the low rumbling sounds or white noise but lets speech be heard. I use mine all of the time in my lawn business and they let just enough sound through so that I have better awareness. I do not desire complete noise cancelling. That can be dangerous in the public.
