The fit does really vary from person to person. I felt the Buds Live fit me the best and I hope they release a second version. The buds pro was the worst fit for me until I went on Amazon and bought some memory foam tips. Now I use the Buds Pro as my daily driver. People go online and complain the earbuds don't fit so they give it a 1 star review. I think you have to find your fit and review the earbuds according to quality of sound. Once again if you have ears that are really finicky, you might have to go and buy different tips.

Last year I bought a Skullcandy Indy Evo model and can say it was a fitting model for me. If you want earbuds that fit you well, I suggest you buy them since they have "special" plastic covers designed to adjust every ear. If you want something like an earplug: that is for you. If you want more colors, your choice has to go with "buds 2" because they offer more colors.

In between OnePlus Buds Pro vs Sony XM4000 vs Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro vs Oppo Enco X2 which one would you pick? As of I've experienced Sony's was little bit bulky to my ears (didn't experienced paring with the app) and OnePlus's was fitting properly and even I liked the sound signature more (I did connected it with my Heymelody app and experienced). Most of the times I listen to pop and edm so practically I'm inclined to bass songs. If possible please share me you're thoughs. As of I know at present Oppo Enco X2 is the best But recently launched Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro (for Samsung users is the best)

As an owner of the original buds pro, it would have been nice if you could have showed what the nozzle on the buds2 pro was like. The old model had a unique nozzle so you couldn't swap the tips with any other unless they were specifically made for the buds pro.

I traded my Buds Pro for these because of the 15%smaller announcement cause they do suck on the fit department. I wish that they would fit like for example the Jaybirds Vista. When it comes to my Buds Pro I have my right ear with the bigger tip and my left with the smaller tip and the somewhat have a decent fit but there's always some ambient noise even when I'm using the noise cancelling.

Thanks Suchita! These earbuds are tied to Samsung's eco-system, so you'd need the Galaxy Wearables app which I believe cannot be installed on One Plus (you can confirm this yourself). But if you happen to have another Galaxy device to set up these earbuds on just one time, then you can use pretty much most important features with only a Bluetooth connection on your One Plus without even the need to have the Galaxy Wearables app.

Hi Isreal! I'd love to give you a definitive answer, but I've honestly never tried Beats Pro. 😕 But I can tell you that I'm happy with the sound quality of the Buds2 Pro. The thing that still needs a lot of work by Samsung is the 360 audio.

If you want great sound and louder buds definitely go with the Buds Pro if you care about noise cancellation and not as loud then go for XM4s. I would also say detail but with the new codec I would have to test these and compare them. But in terms of volume, being light and compact there's no competition to the buds pro

I love thr XM4s but I can't wear them very long. Cost of their ANC supremacy I'm afraid. They sound great, a little better than my Galaxy Buds Pro (I'm trading them for the Buds Pro2) but due to the comfort I find myself grabbing the Buds Pro more often. I also get the occasional cut out when walking around with the XM4s that I don't get from the Buds Pro. I'm hoping the Buds Pro2 improvements will close the gap between the XM4s and my old Buds Pro This is, of course, just my experience with these two products.

Bluetooth 5.2 is required to add LE audio. But having BT 5.2 doesn't mean it can support. In other words, the device still has to be made to support LE audio and needs to have at least BT 5.2.

Hey. I've found changing the ear tips, so they just grip your ear works for me. With the stock ear tips It always hurt my ears, but ones that fit me better, I don't have to push them that deep into my ear. They're a bit iffy laying in pillows, and the buds+ feel a lot better on pillows, but it's not horrible.

So far nothing beats the wf-1000xm4 I love those things. I had the samsung pro for a while until they broke. Loved them but then got the wf-1000xm4 and those are crazy good. Anc is crazy and the sound is far better. I guess I will see how these new pro compare to the sony

Are the tips more round then egg shaped like the pros?They hurt my left ear where the round normal old buds didnt at all. I bought the foam aftermarket tips and it helped a little but still took weeks to get used to and for longer sessions still caused pain from the nub on the tip to hold the tips on.

Yeah they seem more round. Just slightly oval shaped. The shape might change a bit over time based on the shape of you ear canal.

For me & this only pertains to me, myself & I, Noise Cancelation is not a big deal. I'm getting older & my hearing is not as good as it used to be, so I need Higher/Stronger Ambient sound coming in. Yes Dwight, they have ambient mode but the old model (Pro) have a slider in the app where you can amplify it up to +20dB. The new ones have no such feature and I can't tell for sure if the amplification is the same as the Pro's.

I really don't think that those earbuds look "premium" at all. They might be hi-tech but I think they look cheap. And I honestly think that it's not the successor of the Buds Pro but instead it's a premium version of the budget version of Samsung earbuds: Buds2. But this is just my view of it. If you look the specs you'll notice that the driver size and tweeters size are smaller on Buds2 Pro than it was in Buds Pro what indicates that the hardware itself is not superior. Instead of that the improvements are probably due to software and not hardware.
