I cannot express enough how much I hate this piece of garbage. T-Mobile was selling this for $190, so I expected a decent mid-budget phone. Unfortunately, it runs like $30 phone, full of annoying bugs and glitches, such as the power button bringing up the home screen and immediately going black. It's also terrible in almost every possible aspect, from its shitty camera, shitty display, shitty processor, and the paltry 4 GB of storage. It does call fine, but the messaging app also crashes sometimes. Overall, this is just completely disappointing coming from Samsung.

Awesome, the Lumia 640 is a better device in terms of hardware, but the samsung offers many more apps, if you can live with using windows phone, I strongly recommend the Lumia 640 :)

Stardasha Thomas - Like he said in the video, it feels very ergonomic to him and to me. It has everything that you need, is a decent price, and has a fairly fast startup. The downside is that the camera (I think) is 480p video quality and is not the best at night and recommend a separate camera. Daytime isn't too bad. Games on the phone are really good (I have like 2 or 3 games (my parents gave me 8 GB storage on the device from Verizon)). They run smoothly and is fun. Internet is a breeze (If you have great WiFi). Depending on what mobile service you get, there are apps on the device that literally take up 3-4 GB on the device, so that is a total waste of money to get 8 GB storage, so higher storage may be better, depending on how much you can afford. It is cheaper than the major phones, such as Galaxy S phones, iPhones, etc. Those phones can get the same amounts done, but cost far more. According to Best Buy's cost for Verizon's Galaxy Core Primes, it says $1 for 2 year contracts, $6.04 per month for 24 months (w/ device payments), or $200 for just buying the phone with no contract or future payments. That is a decent ost for that phone. Overall, I think this is a great phone to have, regarding how much storage you put on the phone. It gets a lot done with a cheap-ish item. So definitely buy it.

are talking about samsung galaxy core prime i have this phone for about 2 years and it's so bad I use it now but it isn't great 1- the battery is so crappy :at about 30 % the phone turn off 2- sometime it works slowly and badly 3- selfie camera is so so so bad 4- it's capacity isn't perfect 5- some apps can't install in this bad bad bad bad phone But it's ok it's better than many other phones

I used to have this phone however it had water damage. I have just upgraded to an Iphone5s and let my tell you it is so much better than this phone.First of all the core prime is a very slow phone and lags a lot. Second of all, the camera quality is horrible it doesn't even focus correctly and third of all it isn't that's good in screen quality. I recommend the 5s a bit smaller but more powerful

I have this phone, and it refuses to remember WiFi among other things. picture quality looks bad compared to iphone, but still good quality. the screen looks great, better than my ipod. however app usage, speaker, wifi, ram, and loading sucks. I wouldnt re comment this as an iPod due to WiFi issues. by WiFi issues I mean this: If you turn off WiFi, it won't remember a password. if you switch to a different WiFi: it will not remember the password. everytime you change a setting: forgets password. it also will make you reenter the password after 48 hours. I love the phone (it's literally chuckable) it's industructable and cheap. but it is cheap for a reason.

I have this phone and a case for it the phone is great. After I rooted this phone using kingroot it became one of my favorite phones. with the 4.4 kitkat and once rooted there are millions of apps available to your hands. The camera works great too. If you get a SD card like I did then you're complete. The 8 gigabytes aren't bad but eventually run out. buying the SD card eliminated this issue for me. The built in music app is a must for music lovers like me. Theres a 3D music option,sound alive option,bass option and many more. I highly reccommend this device.

My sister gave me this phone last week (3/18). I've never owned a cell phone; didn't need one until now. Plus I didn't want more radiation zapping my brain. Anyway, all I know is how to turn it on and shut it off, lol. Since I have zero knowledge about cell phones and wonder if this one is worth activating because it's pretty old. The newer phones are far to expensive for my budget. My sister suggested I buy Cricket to connect to the Net. She said Cricket is one of the cheapest per month - $40.00. 1 week later.. So um I played it on that phone and it was terrible. phone overheats too much, and it turns really slow. Sometimes if you are using messenger at the same time, the phone will freeze and either 2 things happen. Messenger shuts done and your GPS restarts, or the phone just gives up and it shuts down. Overall it can run it, but it's a really frustrating experience. Would not recommend 3/10 ign

If anything, get a Galaxy Grand Prime. Basically a straight upgrade from this one. Smooth performance on mostly any games. Works AR mode and still pretty cheap. Probly the best budget phone for gaming. I got mine for 70$. You should be able to buy one for no more than 100. (Bonus points cuz it looks pretty sexy)

I have this phone it is so shit I am going to upgrade to moto g4 let me tell you why this is shit 1. It only has 1gb ram WTF? 2. the camera quality is just shit 3. You can only watch yt videos in 480p WTF 4. You cannot use ar mode in pokemon go and it lags so hard when you evolve pokemons 5. You cannot use vr mode when you move the phone in a vr game it wont move in game 6. The battery is weak and dies at like 20% I have had this for less then a year and barley dropped it it is still shit 7. THE FUCKING RESOLUTION IS 480X800 THAT IS SHIT 8. OVERHEATS IN SOME GAMES 9. this is a good starter phone for like a kid. the camera is pretty bad and the resolution isnt the best but you can play games or call people and stuff on it. the storage is terrible though so if you're some one that wants to have a ton of apps and pictures don't get this phone. I can barely fit more than 4 large apps on it. but like i said before, I great starter phone at a cheap price

For the $50 I paid for this phone (Total Wireless), it was well worth the money. Very reliable, pretty fast (runs KitKat for the most part without a hitch), nice camera although the battery life is a little lacking. I usually get 6-8 hours off a single full charge.

I used to have this phone. It wasn't great but it got the job done. Couldn't really keep a charge after the first 3 months, though. I'd say it's an alright first phone but don't rely too much on it for other activities unless you can deal with a bad battery.

I have it and it's actually a great phone , battery is a bit dodgy at the start but it get better , the home screen sometimes lags (when you press home button the apps take time to load) it's a great memory size , cam , and just a great phone , I've dropped it tonnes of times and not even a scratch

Great review. I've been looking for a basic "smart" phone for my elderly mother (she's been wanting one for a while) and loves to play with my Note 5. I've read reviews form older individuals and they found this phone easy to navigate through. My question is: What size is the SIM card in this T-Mobile version? (she currently has the T-MO prepaid flip phone with a standard SIM) Is it Standard, Micro or Nano? Thanks in advance for your reply.

This phone isn't a complete horrible phone, but it does have it's flaws since I had it for 2 years. The biggest problem for me was the battery usage. I didn't have many downloaded apps that would drain the battery but it would turn off when I would take it off the charger. I plan on getting an IPhone 5, because it wore out. But the battery problem can be easily fixed by buying a new battery. I do recommend getting this phone if it is your first.

2 Hours easy it will drain most of the battery but if it is fully charge it should easily go that distance :)
