It kills S24 Ultra in every single aspect. Samsung should really start innovating their flagships fast or they will get destroyed by these chinese dragons such as Xiaomi or Vivo/Oppo. Though I really like the new nonreflective glass, the rest is just already 3 years old device (45W charging, still really?!) with some AI gimmicks on top.

I have the global Xiaomi 14 ultra and didn't have any of the issues for live notifications for any of the apps by default and didn't have to fiddle any settings to get live notifications. Most be something you did in the settings of the phone while setting up the phone to have the notification issues you had mentioned in the video. Works like any other android phone. I have Oppo OnePlus and Samsung phones too

I'm a Sammy fan but I like the One Plus phones as well.....wouldn't mind if you reviewed their latest One Plus 12 I think it's called and their One Plus watch 2 which runs on Wear OS and has great battery life. My major gripe with chinese phones is their software support or lack thereof. Having said that in my country Xiaomi midrangers especially, are popular because they are well priced. I'll be honest I do like they switch designs around and colours. And they give you a charger right plus phenomenal fast charging.

the ceramic back actually caused a dispute in China, because it's not made out of the old "ceramic" that is zirconia ceramic that Xiaomi and huawei normally used, but it is the ceramic that Apple used for their front panel "ceramic shield" (from the same supplier). The front panel and back panel of Xiaomi 14 ultra is actually made out of the similar material that is actually by definition "ceramic", but it may not feel like the traditionally used heavy and concrete feeling zirconia ceramic anymore. Btw the back ceramic panel is actually transparent, the blue color is coated and not by dye or ion-exchange process like zirconia ceramic, that might explain why it looks different.

It’s funny I’m in the US using Xiaomi and never ever have I had to do a single one of those steps for notifications! I’ve used CN, EU, and global! Even hyper! Never had to do that 😶‍🌫️ interesting… 😮

yes plz, do full comparison between this and S24 Ultra. Features, battery, SOT, Benchmarks scores and cameras etc. I think it's a good phone, and with the comments that you can't trust a chinese phone, I don't believe that. Though i do think Xiao Mi and the other Chinese brands have too many bloatware Apps that you can't uninstall. Samsung has some too but easy to get rid of any using ADB compared to Xiao Mi.

"Samsung hardcore fan", Xiaomi wins in almost every aspect except of the S-Pen. Better cameras, better display, better form factor, better battery, I have owned Xiaomi since 11 Ultra till 14 Ultra right now. I would never go back to any other brand. When I read all of the comments on the internet I can only think of one thing - people who wrote it have never hold this phone in their hands. Period.

I'm totally sketched out by the Chinese phones, too, and I just don't feel they are a trustworthy investment whatsoever. It's a shame that's where we're at these days. That being said, I do really like what they are doing with the camera systems, though that camera bump is way over the top. While I love my s24 ultra, I wish Samsung would take some cues for its camera system from some of these Chinese makers. I think the galaxy ultra's camera system could benefit from a wholesale revamp. Each generation gets a small hardware update, and the rest is carried over from the previous model, and after so many years, it has kinda become a mashup of hardware that is more difficult than necessary for Samsung to make work as a whole. I think it would be easier for them if there was more continuity in the hardware between the 4 cameras, and would give more consistent and better results.
