This one doesn't have an ambient light sensor. It uses the front camera to detect the amount of light it is being exposed to. You just tapped on settings, you saw an option to turn on or off the adaptive brightness and you thought there is indeed an ambient light sensor in the device. Didn't you? FYI, that camera based adaptive brightness doesnt work all the time.

M20 is cheaper than Note 7. If you are considering about the price, just go for M20. Both are good in handling high graphic games especially PUBG. M20 has larger battery capacity than Note 7. Camera? Even though Note 7 comes with 48MP, in the end the quality level are same as 12MP. I prefer M20 in terms of handling low light situation. Thats my opinion😉😉😉

Samsung pretty much died for me. In the low to mid range Xiaomi crushes everything and Huaweris Mate 20 X is also incredible and waay better than the galaxy s9 or note series (imo)

Imo, the note 9 is my most favorite but the mate 20x is my second most favorite. They provide different things. In the US, I can buy a Note 9 for less than the mate 20x(including M pen to make it fair). Better cameras and more battery, 7nm, bigger screen then mate 20x. No notch(though the mate 20x notch I am fine with but big mate 20pro and iPhone x notch I hate expecailly the pixel 3xl notch which is the ugliest), IP 68, s pen with Bluetooth, more features in UI, bit smaller, micro SD card, 2k+ oled screen, samsung pay and Knox security.... Note 7 has better processor and GPU with it( yeah you Samsung fanboys with denial mentality). IPS LCD has better viewing angles and consumes less battery compared to PLS TFT. Galaxy M20 doesn't have anti scratch screen with it. It had already has touch issue adding screen protector or tempered glass will further increase the issue.

So you can't compare it with 13k Asus MaxProM2 or yet to be launched Redmi Note 7(Guessing it 15k+ for sure). Clearly no compatetion. 2.Price to performance - Tear drop display, 5000mAh battery, Type C with 15W fast charging adapter included inside the box, Decent camers considering the price they offered a super wide angle camera which no one else did in this segment. 3. Compromise - Average build (Plastic back) and Samsung own exynos chip which is decent enough for the price when compared to SD625, 632. My Verdict - It's definitely a best budget phone from Samsung so far in this price range. I strongly recommend to all who looking for a smartphone with the budget of 11 to 13k. Thanks..!!

As we know exynos are expensive chipsets......but they do have advantage that Samsung manufacturers exynos but it lacks performance So samsung should go to snapdragon or mediatek for competition in budget segments...

He isn't technical guruji he's a technical douche nobody bends the phone with power button unless ur that desperate to break it .my advice wait for note 7 because xiaomi phones usually have great custom rom support by devs so u won't feel bored by the UI for a long time

Doesn't it not have an Ambient light sensor, and use the front camera to gauge the required brightness? Also, isn't it's haptic engine disabled?

I guess samsung should/could also have a sub brand like Huawei to honor and Xiaomi to Redmi so that they can offer a good mid range phones with a beefier specs for an affordable price. Samsung just won't cut it in the midrange section if they continue to handicap their midrange phones. Samsung is great on their Flagship devices but on the midrange sections, well.... not so much. Also, Samsung is notorious for having a slow software updates if not being updated at all, sadly and more brands are starting to offer good phones with a top of the line specs for an affordable price.
