Hello everyone, this is the long-term review of the Galaxy M51. We knew Samsung’s mid-rangers to be far behind in performance with competition previously, but now, the company has provided acceptable if not the best performance for the price it asks. Other aspects like the display (with Samsung’s ever so popular Super AMOLED display technology) and cameras are still some of the best things about the phone.
But the best thing about the phone remains the fact that it has a whopping 7,000 mAh battery that lasted me for two days on a single charge on normal usage. Even with heavy usage, the battery is very enduring. For instance, even after playing PUBG and COD for an hour, it only drained 9% battery which is great.
Overall, the Galaxy M51 is a very good contender in the mid-range market. Plus, Samsung’s OneUI and its optimization gives it an edge over other brands like Xiaomi and Realme.

I went to buy A71 but it was unavailable so I bought M51. But I have no regrets at all. I recommend M51 over A71 as it has large battery, fast charging and about 7-10k cheaper. Only major difference is A71 looks premium. But as both phones are above 40k, we're going to use back cover anyway. So, M51 is more reasonable, I think.

I've been using M51 since late October and absolutely love it. Battery life is generally 9-10 hour SOT (max I got was 11 hr)

What when I used my M21 for 4 months I got 12 hours of sot but literally 0 gaming and very less standby cuz standby in Samsung phones is battery killer

@@tempest1212 I research my phones a lot and when I was switching from my realme 5 pro I knew 101% it was a downgrade but by 0 gaming I mean 0 minutes of gaming cuz I don't game on my phone but I switched back to my realme cuz I did not expect multitasking which was slower than redmi note 7 and even the budget realme c3 the multi tasking was especially slow when taking a photo going back to the camera app opening the multi tasking tray and going to the other app it took hell lot of time anyways hopefully Samsung gives a good unlike m02s Snapdragon or atleast launch a new exynos cuz apart from performance M21 was just perfect

Just now i had to choose from galaxy M51 and motorola moto g 5G and i picked moto 5G.Reasons: (1) Samsung software icons ,looks and lastly the bloatware apps simply repel me. (2) Giving 7000 mah battery remains fine but weight suggest that there is huge compromise on build quality.This point is related to a purchase i made for a poco f1.I got it from mi home.At time of purchase ,i mistakenly mishandled the box and phone slipped out and fell on floor.Its screen upper part was in pieces.So 21k was in drain in matter of seconds. (3) I dont know about others but i have never liked puffed up samsung screens in their smartphones.Further they use AMOLED screen and sometime SAMOLED.These screens if break means 100% display failure.On other hand if IPS LCD break then only damaged part may not work but rest will atleast work. I always say buy a phone but first preference should be its build quality,no ads/security patches.
