This was my first galaxy phone i purchased back in highschool, and to this day it was and still is the best samsung phone i ever had, remember having so much fun with that IR Blaster sensor on the top when i ran into TV shops and confused the people there with it lol, still missing it :'( Fun Fact: this phone is still technically way bigger than the phone we have today, but the phones right now have thinner bezels so they look like they're bigger, this thing is bigger than a 13 Pro Max as a whole but screen is a little smaller due to bezels

galaxy series have a size for everyone. why do people complain about the huge size of mega version and compare with the iphone the size drawbacks? just get a galaxy mini version or s4 if you cant handle a big phone. it really bothers me a lot how people are always complaining about Samsung phone being too big when they could have just gotten a smaller version instead. IF they are expecting technology to put a 7 inch display in a 4 inch phone then they are talking a physical absurdity.

I totally agree with you on this. I absolutely love the MEGA and its the phone to have for a lot of people but I think a lot of folks just like to complain about things. They aren't happy unless they're complaining about something and THAT'S why they whine about this phone being so large.

I stumbled upon a cellphone stall and saw this unit while strolling with my wife. The large screen and specs automatically put a price tag in my head. When I asked the guy how much, I was so shock by the price tag as in how affordable it is. I immediately traded in my 2 yr old iphone 4 32GB without much hesitation. While diagonally the same, Mega is 109.4 cm2 while note 8 is 101.1 cm2 .

Simple answer, I have a note 8. The note 8 is based on the new ratio 18:9 as apposed to 16:9 which this phone is. Also look at the angle on the phone in the video then look on the note 8 the angle is steeper on the note 8 giving it that narrow look. Its all in the angle.

I switched from an iPhone 4S to the Mega not to long ago, and I am really enjoying using the Mega. Sure, if I had a couple of hundred dollars I could have gotten the Note 3, but either phone is a big performance booth. I just wish it had a Quad Core CPU.

Hey Mike, Daniel here, and I got to say, I just purchased me a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 back in February of this year, and although I just had this phone for just 2 months, I will say, that I love it, and after seeing your video here about it, I have just learned some new stuff that I could use on my phone, such as when you changed that internet browser to the Google chrome browser, I too did that on my phone also. Cause I like chrome better for my phone than all the others. The battery life on this phone rocks with that 3200 mAh battery, I can get at least two days of usage out of my phone before having to charge it again. And I too, got the black one, (actually, more like grey,) but I like this color for my phone. To me, technically color doesn't make a difference, as long as the phone does it's job, that would be good enough for me. Thanks again for showing this wonderful video of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. Hope you come out with a video for the Samsung Galaxy S5 soon.

Welp, that is an advantage for him. He can handle hard to reach corners of smartphones. But, he also has a disadvantage because there are many chances that if you have big hands its easy to get it because you don't have much control because you're too comfortable of handling it not too tight so it might not fall. If you have small hands you have small chances of getting your phone easily while the big hands you have big chances.

The only thing I find wrong with this phone is no body has it for sale in the U.S as of yet. To the people that say this is just an oversized phone that looks stupid. I have to say for the people with Small Hands yes this Phone would look stupid in Smaller Hands because I have big hands and for me to have a Small Phone I look stupid with the small phones. So this phone will fit in my hands just right as your small phones fit your small hands just right, I will be Glad to be able to buy it when it comes up for sale in the U.S Stores. I am 6' 7" Tall and I wear a size 17 ring so I guess you can see me with the Small phones that most people can use and me trying to touch the little key pads, Most phones when I try to touch a key pad my finger hits at least two at a time and using the little pen that comes with some phones, Well it makes a better tooth pick than a pen. So I have to say Thank God for a Phone for people with Big Hands.

My iPhone 4S just decided to kick the bucket, and I am purchasing the mega 6.3 tomorrow! I have watched enough reviews to know that this is exactly what I want. I have thick fingers and have had a tough time with my iPhone. I feel like this will probably get more attention than people think, likely becoming a successful new line of Samsung phones. Thank you so much for this video. I've learned some features about my new phone! I got this last Saturday because I wanted a phrablet. I have an earpiece to use for phone purposes, so that helps if I'm going to be in any long term convo. I do find it pretty slick in the hand though, so it could be easily dropped. I plan on ordering a couple of different type of cases for it depending on what I want to use the phone for that day. This is a pretty nice upgrade from my Motorola Photon 4G LTE phone, that decided to have a major screen crash last Saturday! I will feel more comfortable with this phone once I get the cases to put it in. Right now, I'm just afraid I'll drop it!
