I like the power button on the left. I went to Wal-Mart and bought an adapter for the head phone Jack. $3.00 or so. Love the stereo! Hole punch, no problem. Go all day, battery. S-pen is awesome!! Pics, videos, notes, selfies. Love that night mode. I compared night mode to regular photo. Whit my bad memory, the s-pen has helped me with Smart Select.

I bought one today, used(exynos) at one third of the price(390€) and from what i saw many reviewers out there, it's still a top of the line in 2022, plus its 256gb of base storage.
@kait3n102 жыл бұрын
I'm considering buying it too, the only thing holding me back is the 60 Hz refresh rate. In your opinion does it feel lacking compared to 120 Hz displays that even midrange phones have now in 2022?
@xCyAx2 жыл бұрын
@@kait3n10 I had Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra(refunded) before and i don't feel i need the 120hz, 120hz is only noticable when you keep looping stuff around and you want to pay attention to the smoothness itself. it's not pratical for every day use. Example, when you are browsing an app like facebook, you dont scroll that fast , cause you cant read that fast xD. At least to me it's a gimmick and much prefer the battery of these devices, it's like a Fidget Spinner, just to sometimes aliviate stress, but you don't have to. This notion of 120hz also runs out quickly since you tend to forget it after a few days. Also One Ui has some kind of smoothness effect like the IOS that mimicks it.
@kait3n102 жыл бұрын
@@xCyAx Thanks for the insight! I'm coming from a Xiaomi Mi 9T myself so all the great features in the Note 10+ will hopefully make up for the lack of that high refresh rate. Honestly that's the only thing keeping me on the fence (and the punch hole, but uninterrupted displays are unfortunately hard to come by nowadays).
@kait3n102 жыл бұрын
@@xCyAx Btw if you don't mind me asking, do you prefer the Note 10+ over Mi 11 Ultra? Because at first glance the Mi 11 Ultra seems like the more capable phone in terms of specs
@xCyAx2 жыл бұрын
@@kait3n10 The Mi 11 Ultra, for sure, the camera specially night pictures(WOW.. i saved them in my pc and i'm still amazed), the 67w wireless charging, the perfomance. But the software updates are lacking because they are all generic, no special treament for high end devices on Xiaomi. Bough one in july 21 and in september 21 the wifi module broke in september sundely while playing asphalt 9 and ordering Ubereats xD. It required a full motherboard switch and they could send me a new one or refund, so i chose refund but i still miss the camera capabilities. Right now, its better to wait for Mi 12 Ultra and see what they show, might be alot better for almost the same price. Only bought the note10+ used cause nothing really interest me at this time. Also waiting for "Oppo's new continuous zoom techonogy" they anounced last year.

You deserve way more subscribers than what you have now, because of the no bs approach you people got. This very video is an example of that. You covered pretty much everything in the shortest time possible. No other tech channel even comes close when it comes to putting a phone through it's paces in a methodical manner like yours. Congrats. The only critique I have regarding your channel or your website in general is that you don't put the same effort when it comes to lower end phones. This is especially true for some of the best sellers like Note 7 Pro for example. I think you're getting those reviews done by your Indian team, who unfortunately are not doing a good job. My advice, please focus more on those best selling lower end devices more, as people genuinely look for your conclusions before making the purchase...

4:36-4:38: WRONG, there's a way to hide that hole punch cutout natively and I'm doing it on my Note10+... Go To Settings => Display => Full Screen Apps => Hit the 3 dots on the upper part then select Advance Settings then from there you'll see the word Hide Camera Cutout which basically turns the upper part of the screen into a thin black bezel like the ones on my old Note9 & Note8 and voila the camera hole cutout is not obvious anymore due to the nature of OLED screens to produce pitch and deepest of blacks. Just saying and trying to correct the misinformation and misunderstanding here. And it's not only on flagship phones but across all Samsung Galaxy phones with Infinity V (waterdrop notch A20, A30s) Infinity U (U-shape notch e.g. A30/A50/A50s/A70/A70s) and even newer midrange and flagship Galaxy phones. Thanks.

Ditch the dongle-invest in a Bluetooth audio receiver. I recommend TaoTronics wireless audio receiver. It can be found on Amazon for $15. Before someone ask, yes, you can plug your native 3.5mm headphones into the receiver, thus providing you a wired-wireless experience without having to replace your favorite pair of ear cans.

What's the point? You get worse audio quality. You might as well just buy a pair of Bluetooth headphones

@@franklingoodwin - You remind me of an idiot child screaming in a hospital. Dolt, I recommend the audio receiver as an _alternative_ to using a wired dongle, as it'd be completely impractical and prohibitively expensive to recommend the iFi xDSD or a similar DAC after splashing $1200+ on a shiny new carrier pigeon. And that's to say nothing about the fact that the Note 10 is designed in-wait for it now- China. Stay stupid, stupid.

@@realhamonwry8620 or alternatively use a pair of wireless headphones or USB - C earbuds that come with the phone. Stacked with features and very powerful _to the point that it's the most powerful phone in the world right now_ AND comes with 120Hz display, not mentioning the 6000mAh beast of a battery, AND guess what...it has a headphone jack, guess better to save 200$ and get the ROG Phone 2 then. The irony is when Samsung remove an essential feature and price their premium flagship to the point that the most premium gaming phone out there with more features (most of them are just equal OR better) is simply *cheaper*. *Yes, no expandable storage on ROG Phone 2 but there's plenty of internal, still a better deal.
@qwerty-bk5ep5 жыл бұрын
Well it comes to the matter of preference even though the ROG 2 is cheaper i would rather choose the Note 10+ over the other. Imo the Note 10+ have a better camera, faster charging speed, better UI, better design, better screen (in terms of resolution) , micro sd card slot , and a Spen.
@vector60775 жыл бұрын
@@qwerty-bk5ep Ok let's take out your claims one by one: 1. Better camera: ROG 2 has 48MP lens that's definitely an advantage BUT...were not gonna do that, some of the cameras u find on the most mediocre mid-range phones tends to range from decent to great, and ROG 2 is definitely more than great and BOTH of the cameras are MORE than enough for the normal consumer, and looking at the features that ROG 2 has to offer over the Note10+ _that I've already mentioned some_ it definitely doesn't justify throwing an extra 200$ for *slightly* a better camera, if u r a photographer go buy an actual camera. Think the ROG didn't officially launch yet so it wasn't listed on DxO website to get some numbers, but when it does it's almost definite that the difference won't justify the extra 200$. 2. Faster charging speed: Hmmm...I don't think there's a lot of difference between 45-watt with the Note10+ against 30-watt with the ROG 2, and even if u want to consider that small difference the battery on the ROG 2 is almost 2000mAh bigger than the one on the Note10+, sooo... u want to pay extra 200$ for 15 more watts of charging speed while u r getting a 6000mAh battery against a 4300mAh one? lol sure, go ahead. But if we want to be fair here let's compare the standard Note10 on this point _which's still 50$ more expensive than the ROG 2_, the standard has 3500mAh battery with 25-watt fast charging...again lol. And also as mentioned in the video u only get a 25-watt charger with the Note10+ WHILE u get the 30-watt charger withe ROG 2. *There's a link downbelow that will lead to an unboxing video of the ROG 2. In one of his videos, Mrwhosetheboss mentioned that having a bigger battery is ultimately better than having a faster charging speed, because all batteries when they reach a certain percentage while charging they all definitely gonna start charging much slower, so when the 4300mAh battery on the Note10+ reaches that threshold percentage the 6000mAh battery on the ROG 2 will still prob be charging with 30-watt charging speed, so that gives fewer points for that 15-watt difference. *U will find that in the link downbelow. 3. Better UI: For most of the normal consumers the UI will be the last on their priority list when deciding to buy a new phone, AND it's just a personal preference so u can't speak for everyone, but for me personally, I didn't like the One UI...not a bit. 4. Better design: AGAIN..that's a personal preference and u CAN'T speak for everyone. My personal opinion on this is that the Note10/10+ looks like a colorful brick lol, and most of the KZbinrs that I have watched reviewing the ROG 2 mentioned that Asus has done a much better job with the ROG 2 than the ROG regarding the design, so yeah for me I think the ROG 2 is a better design. Some ppl don't like an extreemly bezless display and I'm one of them, and I'm sure the ppl who do like an extreemly bezless dsiplay won't mind when they see the value that the ROG 2 has to offer over both of the Note10 and Note10+. *U will see something about the design of the ROG 2 in the video link downbelow. 5. Better screen (in terms of resolution): I'm VERY much sure that there is NOT much difference between FHD and QHD on a 6.5-inch screen, so don't tell me that having a higher resolution which is not that much noticeable on a screen like that justifies an EXTRA 200$, just don't. The Nokia 8 had a QHD resolution on a freakin' 5.3-inch display, so yeah...comparing between FHD and QHD on a *phone* is just stupid, but guess what is NOT stupid and is very much noticeable? the 120Hz refresh rate. 6. Micro sd card slot: Yeah...I said that, and I also said that the ROG 2 ha more than enough internal storage, BUT again if we want to be fair let's compare to the standard Note10, and...Oh my, it doesn't have one, but guess what the ROG 2 has...a headphone jack, wich both the Notes don't have it, so...ok NO. 7. Spen: AND AGAIN...that is a personal preference, BUT why does a normal consumer have to pay a freaking 1100$ to be able to use a pen with his phone?! a normal consumer doesn't even need that, it's just a gimmick, graphics designers might need that, artists might that, but guess what? these kinds of ppl will prob buy a drawing tablet and just get a mid-range phone instead of wasting a freakin' 1100$ of their _probably_ tight budget just for that stupid Spen. -Here's a bonus: kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2SslIKFYp6jkKc The video above is unboxing of a review unit of the ROG 2, and the video is by Mrwhosetheboss, u get with the ROG 2 as mentioned a 2nd gen detachable AeroActive Cooler to cool the phone while playing, while also providing a SECOND headphone jack, 2 headphone jacks on the ROG 2 out of the box while nither of the Note10 and Note10+ have one, that's a HUGE ooF. They didn't even include a dongle with this 1100$ of a waste of money (in my opinion). And just mentioning here that the ROG 2 has the Snapdragon 855 plus which is considerably better than the 855 while taking the price difference into consideration here. *The video said the Note10+ has SD855 plus, but while diplaying otherwise, I looked on the GSMArena's website it says clearly that it is SD855. *U said "it comes to the matter of preference" but u immediately proceeded to saying that the Note10+ has this better and this better and this better, don't contradict yourself. -Happy to show how flawed Samsung is here, you are welcome. -To note, I'm not a fanboi of any company _I buy what I see that has the best value for me_, I was just saying facts, sometimes with a bit of spiciness.

@@vector6077 first im a person of tight schedule so having a Note 10+ that can charge in an hour is better than the ROG 2 that take 1 hour and 45 minutes i find the note 10+ battery life more than enough for me. Second, having a better screen resolution is more important that 120Hz display to me. I mainly watch youtube and netflix on my phone so a 120 Hz display is useless to me. Third, i would rather have a micro sd card slot than a headphone jack Fourth, S pen is a very important feature to me for signing doucuments and show a sketch for my clients. To me the ROG 2 phone is a gaming phone its not as flexable has the Note 10+ which can be a productive and a gaming phone. Spec wise the Note 10+ is more than enough.
