S10 user here. I have the Exynos version of this phone and in most cases its ok for day to day use but I can definitely feel the lag. I did factory reset this couple of times during the past couple of years. Battery wise its pretty bad. I have to charge this 2 times a day and that's without doing anything. no gaming. i watch maybe max 30 mins worth of youtube and whatsapp and web browsing. I wasn't planning on getting another Samsung thanks to trashy exynos but now their newer models comes with snapgragon and they are good with software too. So I might stick with them. For now I'll keep using this S10 till it dies. Performance is good enough. camera is good. biggest issue is battery but I carry a small 10,000mah battery in my other pocket with built in cables.

I just bought one like 2 weeks ago, battery life is certainly not exemplary but I wasn't shocked, it's not as bad as you describe it.

Battery is definitely not the best in year 5 but I am surprised to hear that you have lag. I have no visible lag at all......That said, the phone practically lives on a charger. When I am at work, I have it plugged in. In my car, plugged in. At home, plugged in. You get the idea lol.

@@DominicanOps is your S10 a Snapdragon variant? Maybe that explains the lack of lag. I got multiple notifications saying battery is degraded and the performance might be affected too. I'm sure after a battery replacement I might get more performance but the issue is I can't find a good replacement battery.

When you put the speakers to your ear (stick it to your ear), do you feel like the sound of the upper speaker is higher quality than bottom speaker ? I'm asking because i'm trying to figure out if my s10 has original speakers because my s10 upper speaker is better than the bottom one which shouldn't be normal. I bought it 2 weeks ago.

Still have my Ceramic White S10+ in use. 4GLTE is fine, but having the headphone jack is important to me. The micro SD card is another plus and the display is still among the best. ❤❤❤

i am using this phone for 5 yrs now. i customised the rom to make it less ram and storage hunger. it is bloatware free rom. this is a superb device for 200 bucks compare to low or mid end models that you normally see when checking phones offered in brandnew market. all you need to do is to customised the ROM, root it and it will unlock the maximum potential of the device.

Your conclusion is exactly why I am updating from my S10 plus to the S24plus, the lack of security updates. I am not so much bothered about the android updates, though they would be nice. I have loved this phone. Screen is still great, expandable storage and headphone jack, battery even now is fine for the day. Looks gorgeous and the camera is still decent enough. If it still had security updates I would keep it going for another year or two and see where we were then.

IF YOYU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE SOFTWARE, YOU CAN MOD IT AND ROOT IT AND PUT THIS PHONE ON THE NEWSET ANDROID, ITS DEFINATLEY STILL WORTH BUYING.

I have the SM-G975U1 apparently it doesn't have a unlockable bootloader but it does have the Snapdragon. Is there a problem with the SMG 975F with the Exnos chip? because I considered buying one and then modding it rooting it like you're talking about. They still sell them they're about $250 for a 512 storage version.

Pro-tip if you ever have to get a new display for one of these, buy a faulty phone instead (non-display fault obviously), like 50-70 quid for a replacement display instead of the 100-180 quid you'd spend on a refurb display+frame!

Mine just popped the back off (swollen Battery) today. Had this thing for about 4.5 years now and it dose the trick. The last 12 months the battery has been on the weak side , so I just got a replacement battery for 30$. This will give me time to replace it when money isn't so tight and I have a spare 2k to get a new one.

S10 user here! It’s not the best phone but it is definitely a wonderful one. I’ve had to replace the battery once but other than that the phone is brilliant! Would definitely recommend.

I cant believe I still have this phone as my only phone. The only thing I had to do was replace the battery 2 times over the years. Other than that, it still does everything I need. Once 5G becomes available in more places, I'll be upgrading then. Dont see a need otherwise to spend around a grand every few years for the latest and greatest. *shrugs* without a problem

I still have and enjoy my s10+sd855 version! Still a great phone with not a problem what so ever! Can't find a real upgrade, like 3.5 jack, SD card and a superb display! All apps working great, Going strong. No need to change it yet.

I have had this phone for the past 5 years and will say the ONLY problem I am having is that the battery is not charging like it used to, specifically the fast charging. Also, about a year ago, I finally ran out of space for pictures and videos and had to move everything over to the cloud. Other than that, it's still silky smooth and not a single issue with lag like my S7 had experienced in year 3.

I have s10 5g it's really cool phone. and still love it till today, the only bad part is the s10 doesn't get any software or any security updates. which for me is somewhat important 😅. I'll try to install Lineage OS to get the support for security and new android features and sacrifice the Samsung one ui and it features 😅.

I used a prism white S10+ since it came out in 2019...Unfortunately i dropped it on concrete and the screen cracked. Yesterday I've bought a refurbished S10+ (prism black this time lol), and i'm gonna use the old one exclusively for Samsung DeX.

It's a great alternative to any kid ranger today but u could find the s21/s22/s21 fe and s20+ for that price bracket makes me not recommend this device. I'd say get the s22 or s21 fe those devices will get long javity foe a low price

Wanted this phone since 2019 but in 2019 I had the Samsung note 8 and loved it. I agreed that I was going to wait a few years after to save up for the s10 plus. I do have a question, is the camera still good on this phone?

The camera was definitely so good for its time I know people love iPhone cameras but during the time I had my S10+ it was legit. I miss it so much and funnily enough I did go to a note 8 after my S10+ got dropped one day

The s10+ $200 a25 $200 s10+ wins but u could get the s20/s21/s21fe and s22 at those price bracket and I'd say get the s22 for long javity u still got 3 more years of security update, its not thats different from the s24

@osidavi u can find an s22 for around $250 and the s10+ for around $150 but the price gap isn't really that big anymore like last year the s22 was around $400 but not so much if a difference this year.

I will never buy Samsung phone...i have this problem with Samsung account that keep appearing and you cant OFF the notification and even you set like forget password it dosnt cooperate and keep back on set up you Samsung account and you cant hard reset it...i want to throw in the sea because i cant totally erase porn videos.
