Galaxy has the sharpness and wide angle camera, but that’s pretty much it. iPhone colors are FAR better (better dynamic range, not overexposed and blown out constantly like the Galaxy, and more accurate color).

Overexposed and blown out (I guess you are talking about the night shots) comes because it's filmed in HDR10+ and most likely your screen/monitor isn't capable of that. I agree, dynamic range is better on the normal mode, if you watch it on a Display that can display HDR10+ content you see that Samsung kills it. But for colours I agree, the iPhone is miles ahead of all other phones.

Colour accuracy, or lack of it, is a choice they make, it's not a technical challenge. Blind tests (meaning not identifying the phone) in the past showed that most people prefer colours that pop, even if they're not true to life. That's why Samsung do it, and it's the same with the colour settings of their displays. Some people may like the true to life, but I for one prefer colours that pop.

That's because the night shots are filmed in HDR10+ and I guess your monitor isn't capable of this. When I watched this on my phone it looked all blown out and bad, but on my TV that is capable of HDR10+ it looks insanely good and way better than the iPhone.

I know that you always stay true to your own opinion regardless of the circumstances (It must be the Russian/Ukrainian in you, lol). Truthfully Apple is slacking a bit or the competition is just catching up while they choose to keep walking because they think they can. Not in the sense that they deliver a poor product because Apple products are still Fantastic. But in the sense that competitors are finally catching up with aesthetics and the entire user experience aspect of things where apple always had its edge. I was always a fan of Samsung hardware and technology. I was even a galaxy/android user like yourself prior to jumping into the Apple ecosystem. Apple really just hooked me with the entire user user friendly ecosystem and aesthetic. I've honestly been thinking about switching to the S10 after hearing so many great things about it. But I want to wait and see what the iPhone 11 brings to the table. I really love the integration of the my Macbook and iPhone. Primarily due to the easy use of Messages between both devices. How are you dealing with that by the way? Are there any third party apps that make syncing your S10 to your Macbook simple? I'm also a bit stringent on the selfie camera cutout on the S10. I know it's much smaller than the notch on the iPhone. But I'm a sucker for symmetry. And while the notch is a bit larger, the symmetry of the iPhone is near perfect. Especially if the iPhone 11 places the camera horizontally in the center, and shrinks the notch/bezels, as you stated might be happening in prior videos.

on the contrary, the stabiliziation looks way better on the iPhone, notice the jittering in the Samsung video. The dynamic range is better on the iPhone, it produces better, more natural colors. The Samsung oversharpens the whole picture. The only thing that Samsung has going for it the wide angle lens, that’s it. The colors, the dynamic range, the sound and the stabilization, all better on the iPhone.

The iPhone XS camera is, in all honesty, much better. Both cameras are really good tho, but he prolly got tricked by the Samsung Galaxy S10's display. The camera isn't better, the display is better. And even with that, the iPhone XS just looked and seemed much better and realistic. Apple has always been in the lead in terms of their cameras.

From what I could see the colour on iPhone was far more natural. Stabilisation on the S10 seem better but it was difficult to tell unless you had put both phones in some type of dual phone mount. I did like seeing the variation in the S10 wide angle which is awesome. But from your comparison I feel the image quality of the iPhone won. Thanks guys.

Scott Bitters reality is often disappointing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. The S10plus is made for Asian markets and Asian want to look whiter. Hence they don’t mind about the overexposure. However I am Asian and I like the skin tone of my face. I got the S10plus yesterday and I’m gonna return it. It doesn’t come close to my iPhone 8plus. It just overexposes everything. It’s very disappointing.
