The reason why the LG slowed down is because once it gets to a certain charge, it throttles down the wattage used to extend battery life. The higher the wattage used to charge the phone, the hotter the battery gets and that heat shortens the battery life with the current battery technology we have at this time.

i rearly have an opportunity to charge to 100%(I never leave over night) pretty much doesn't make any difference in my case first half hour they were pretty much on par...2nd screen multitasking king great cameras sound king jack flat screen~500$ cheaper= LG clear winner.and most important -LG comes with sd865 instead of garbo exynos in EU!!! It's Not even a competition.

Hi TK, can you please see if the LG V60 has UFS 3.0 or UFS 2.1 storage? There's a lot of contradictory information online; notebookcheck and a few other online publications claim the V60 has UFS 2.1 while LG Italy alone claims the V60 has UFS 3.0.

With the size of the battery I won't need to be charging that V60 through the day. I prefer that slower charge to preserve battery health. Either way it's pretty quick on both charging batteries of that size. Thanks for the video.

Some don't battery technology. Tesla car batteries are are made by pansonic each cell having aa size battery cell and each cell is cooled by liquid cooling. The battery is build like lesania noodles and glycol is pumped to cool noodle battery setup. Implementing that technology , I wonder how the people who complaining about slow charging of mobile phones deal with heat generated in smartphone battery lead to forming dendrite likes in battery. Also cooling system in smartphones not gonna do much as the heat generated is only transferred to heat sink or liquid vapour cooling system. The Tesla battery module are cooled by liquid by pumping it inside. The lithium polymer battery technology can make the battery thinner and sleeker that help to lose heat fast. But anyway you can throw your supercharging smartphone battery (above35)in the dump after one year.

@@eldhosepeter6894 Hope everyone follow oppo with super vooc to charge dual battery cell at the same time (25w per cell = 50w total). The batteries will charge much faster, less heat (35 degree max for a short period) so it will have longer life span. Also the fast charging still work while the screen is on. How cool is that?

@@bequanma it is smart but not smart enough. One cell is 1800mah with 25w . But biggest advantage is it lose heat fast than others.

Hi @ TK Bay, can this 25 W of V60 be used with G8x? I am fed-up with 2 hr 10 min charge time to fill 4000 mAh battery of g8x. At least V60 is very respectable at 1 hour 43 min for charging 5000 mah. When Qualcomm offers QC 4+ with SD855 in g8x, LG does not make it charge efficiently by giving only 5/9V 1.8 A charger. But QC 4+ is more charge efficient as it's voltage and current changes minutely to have efficient charging. LG is really dumb in charging aspect because competitors are either using available charge circuits from processors and making their own fast charging circuits to further increase speed.

TK would you recommend this phone as for a content creator phone over any other contender in the current market? I'm really tempted to wait for the galaxy note 20 hoping that it may come with ufs 3.1 internal storage, and that may be game changer for mobile content production. Wish I could afford the galaxy fold 2, but that's very unlikely with the huawei mate Xs at 2700 bucks I won't be surprised if Samy price the fold 2 at 3000 and up price tag.

Hi TK, how is the battery life on this phone, in terms of screen on and standby time so far? My last V-series phone was the V30, which had fantastic battery life. I also loved the quad DAC, but I had to sell the phone because I had terrible reception and call quality on T-Mobile, even though it was the unlocked variant. I assume you have the T-Mobile variant? How has the call quality and reception been for you so far? I currently have the S10+, but I missed the quad DAC so much, I bought a used V20 for cheap to use solely as a music player. Is the quad DAC on the V60 improved, in your experience? I'm going back and forth about whether I should upgrade and go back to LG. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

I tried a Oneplus 7pro wall brick with dash cable, 4 amps out. The oneplus 7pro would start at 5250 m/A for a minute then level out to 4200 till 80%. The LG v60 was slower using the 4 amp brick than stock LG 25 watt charger. Fastest so far for LG is 2250 m/A. Compared to Oneplus its pathetic. Both phones at 0% with stock chargers, 0 to 100% oneplus 7pro, 50 minutes, LG v60, and other 2 hours 20 minutes
