My partner has an S20+ which seems to not be receiving any updates and was on the same version since bought and I got an updated A71.. when I do speed test both phones launches apps at the same time its amazing how A71 can perform on flagship level..

Exactly, the A71 is cheaper with limited camera features and unstable video quality. The S20 wireless power charge is a likeable feature.

I get the Exynos version of the S20 where I live which makes the A71 more of a consideration.

Seems very biased video from what I saw a phone that can be extremely close to the s20 flagship for less than half the price both phones will have the same amounts of updates and usually most people change phones every 2 to 3 years which is more than enough.

Why pretend to have a midrange phone when comparing a flagship...It's either one has a flagship phone or they don't. If one can afford to get a flagship phone why not get a flagship phone...The midrange phone does not do everything one might enjoy more with the flagship phone - just admit it!
