Yes samsung is very aggressive in killing apps, and as you can see this dude knew what he was doing and put off battery optimizations on all the apps he was using for the test, that's why, My Samsung S20 Snapdragon 5G with 12 gigs of ram kills apps and I don't mind cause I prefer longer battery usage

That's insane. Just goes to show how much of an impact optimisation has. However, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to include benchmarking apps in this though, especially like that 3dmark one where the S21 got a much higher score and FPS, but took a couple seconds longer to display the results and lost just because of that. No one speedruns through benchmarking apps in real life anyway. Even if the ROG won that particular test, the Samsung is clearly the better gaming phone because of sheer GPU power.

Just gonna say this I think any phone with the snapdragon 835 and up are more than fast enough for every day use these phones will be quick even a few years from now. My note 8 is still snappy as hell and it's a 835 processor. The battery just got tired. Other than that you cant go wrong with snapdragon 835 and up at least for a while longer. 😊😊
