to whom it concerns s22 gives easily 6-7 hours of sot as of now with all current updates snapdragon is efficient and gaming performance is solid no lags or stutters same for s22 from day 1 smooth buttery experience ,adaptive 120hz helps alot in saving battery and for smoother experience it is a solid compact phone with good battery life easily a better choice over any compact android or iphone 13 and mini as cameras are also best in class with 3x optical telephoto lense its a clear winner do not worry about battery with normal usage it never gave less than 6hours in starting it use to give 5.30 sot but with updates at the moment minimum 6 -7 hours of sot is what i am getting every day and with 15-20% of battery remaining i also never full charge to 0 to 100 mostly 15 to 95 to keep battery healthy i rarely use any power savers but used it once or twice to see the difference and it gives more battery life 7-8 hours of sot can give more depends on how you use in the end go for it s22 is a great choice for whom coming from s8 or s9 as myself it continues to give great compact phone experience it is as premium as it gets

Seen many reviews on the s22 as im craving for a "small" phone. On paper this is the perfect one, my only concern is the battery.. do u thing with upcoming updates it can mange better in terms of efficient?

I think battery wise it is already at its limit in terms of what it can achieve. If that is of concern, consider the S22+. It’s hard to beat simple physics, the extra 800 mah will come in handy in terms of screen on time. But as things stand, for a small phone the battery is quite decent on the small model. Hope this helps.

@@TechnologyRig Whilst I agree this is a great compact phone in all respects I completely disagree that it will out do the S21 FE in terms of battery life SOT. I am getting 6 hrs SOT easily on S21FE. Most reviewers have advised that S22 is likely to get you just 4 hrs SOT on avg. and in all likelihood will need a second charge by evening on normal usage. This makes it a deal breaker unfortunately. Please do a thorough review of battery life for S22 and release another video on the same. That will help.

@@rdcal s21 fe could be better if it was a snapdragon you can see the difference snapdragon chips are more efficient and performance oriented i was disappointed when they launched s21 fe with exynos but s22 with 3700mah is not bad at all with snapdragon efficiency 4nm chip last whole a day ,i get 6-7 hours of sot easily and 120hz adaptive display is a key factor it goes as low to 24hz which saves alot of the juice its a great phone with good battery i play games also never faced any lags or performance issue ps2 emulator runs smoothly at 60fps

exynos variants have bad battery back up and s22 snapdragon lasts a whole day i get 6 to 7 hours of sot easily never got below 6 hours i also play games but i am a moderate phone gamer i like ps2 games asphalt 9 few others with adaptive 120hz it is efficient for a whole day never charged it twice since i bought it and with updates it is getting better

in short s22 easily last full day and it gives 6-7 hours of sot i have tested it personally and its my daily driver never charged it twicw it is more efficient than s21 fe thanks to snapdragon 4nm chip and its getting better with every update i use to get 5-6 hours of sot now its even better 6-7 hours it adapts as per your usage mine is rocking with battery

@@rdcal thanks mate i am sorry but i think i have commented alot on your s21 fe comments by coincidence 😁😁 but its just i also thought it might be a bad battery phone and the reviews on youtube were so bad due to lack of options as i dont like iphones in specific i took risk of buying s22 which i already pre ordered and got alot late after 1month and half but currently with july update it got alot better in terms of battery i just want to let people know its a good phone with a good battery so people can buy it some people are skipping because of battery life myth it never gave less than 5 hours of sot even after gaming people are thinking it will only give 3-4 hours of sot which is not true so potential buyer can know its a good phone with good battery

Rahul I’d really not recommend the S21 FE. Even the S20 FE 5G is better than that. If you can, avoid that phone. Too many issues with it..

Sarah, if you’re in a region that gets the Exynos variant, I wouldn’t recommend the S21 FE. You will not get better battery life than the regular S22. It also gets too warm for my liking. There were some other software bugs earlier, but these are fixed with updates now. Consider the S22+ instead if you can get it with the Snapdragon chip.

@@MissSmurfey I did not find any issues with S21 FE. Have it and using it. It’s a great phone and highly recommended. Wish the haptic feedback was better but that is a small compromise given overall great package.

Yes you can ramp it down manually to 60hz.

Having seen many reviews I disagree that the battery SOT life of S22 will beat S21 FE. Based on many other reviews the S22 will likely give only 4 hrs SOT on normal usage and it seems that iPhone 13 mini gives a much better SOT in an even more compact form. Can we have a comparison of S22 and iPhone 13 mini battery SOT. Understandably difference between fixed 60 Hz of iPhone 13 mini and adaptive refresh rate of S22 will not make much difference, if at all.

4 hours sot only possible with s22 if you do gaming or benchmarks whole time as matter of fact it has a good battery life reviews are mostly made in a day phones adapts as per your usage as a daily driver mine gives easily 6-7 hours of sot and adaptive display does make a difference while watching youtube netflix it gets locked to 30hz and gives easily 8-10mins per 1% of your battery i have tested many times it will give easily 8-9 hours of sot if you only consume media but reviews are mostly gonna show you that those are based on heavy gaming maps calls etc but normal user gonna either gonna game or use normal social media youtube etc i do all it lasts whole day easily those reviews were too early to tell how good or bad s22 battery is and trust me with updates its just getting better

U can't always go by what the reviewers say, I have the s22 snap dragon version and battery life is good, don't do heavy gaming but I do everything else on it, with you tube running in the background. It all depends on how you use it. Who does heavy gaming on a small phone anyways?

Would've loved to see you do the S22+ instead of the smaller one. The Ultra is not really an Ultra but a note with rounded sides and that horrendous sharp top/bottom. Scamsung should've really just launched the S22 Ultra with the S21U profile. So sad.

I saw that kind of battery drain with the S21FE. Not so with the snapdragon S22. If you are really concerned about battery life, why don’t you change your booking to S22+? That phone will definitely have better stamina because of the bigger battery plus snapdragon processor. But if you have your heart set on the S22, besides the iPhone 13 pro, there is no phone this size that will last as long.
