Too much money for a phone that will be half price as soon as the S23 is introduced. I have a lowily A23 that has an awesome battery, an acceptable camera setup ( especially with alternative camera software). And a very affordable replacement screen (under 40 us dollars with frame). I have the T-Mobile version and am getting legit download speeds of 500 to 600mbs on non UC towers..100+ mbs Uploads. I don't game but do stream. I paid 96.00 for mine. I would rather spend the difference in $$$ for an upgraded 4k DSLR.

I posted this elsewhere as well, but Im an Iphone user for the last 13 years. When I saw the s22 ultra commercial and its design I just loved the way it looks. Some weeks ago I got to see it and touch it in a shop here in Sweden and I absolutely fell in love, and bought it directly! Since I bought it I cant stop looking at it, touch it and play with it. Its really a luxury thing with tons of multitasking! Just split screen in android was an "ahaaa experience for me". And yes im willing to sacrifice my apple eco system involvement as well for this. Love it!

Exciting times for sure! I remember switching away from iPhone to the Galaxy Note 9 and loved all of the little extra features the phone packed compared to my similarly priced and substantially more lackluster iPhone 8 Plus at the time. Apples ecosystem plays well together but android phones are more enjoyable to use on a daily basis for heavy smartphone users!

@@ryanoneal8480 There may be a need to limit some activities i.e. no hours-long game playing or streaming content + calls if away from a charger for hours-on-end but this probably varies based on the age of one's phone/battery. Hope to be using the Note 9 long enough to see either Apple or Samsung get the under screen camera perfected and released but one senses this is taking longer than expected. And until that time, sort of sad the Note 9 has more (hardware) features than any of the Samsung or iPhones in production today. Good luck with your new Ultra!

I completely agree with you about using phone over computer. Ever since I started using an Android honestly. I dont really miss the more integrated experience of the ecosystem of Apple. Too many limitations in this day and age with its UI.... for me at least.

I feel I get best of both with Samsung phone and ipad. Get best of both companies with Apple being the ipad instead of phone, without feeling traped with one company this way. Plus, being one of the small group, the rivalry between them can’t tell me whose side i’m on, while having actual knoledge of using both makes anyone practising the normal belittling (about what phone is better, but agressive as some wars) mentality look the exact amount of awkward as their constantly reused and never evolving retorts about a phone they never used (or a dacade since), when all these companies release ‘new’ features already was seen on a rivals and truethully, the better phone depends on each person and their life.

Most reviews say nothing about the improved modem over the past few years x50 to x55 x60 x65 ect. It is HUGE as far as connectivity to LTE and 5G network bands. Now they are incorporated into the CPU instead separate like on the note 20 ultra and prior and are absolutely monumental for good reception and speed. One of the most important features taken for granted and never reviewed. This phone with series 8 gen 1 has the most advanced modem to date for excellent connectivity and speed in the most remote places.

Got the s22 ultra with 12gb ram from work. All looks great, pleasure look at it. Size factor and design really great. Coming from pixel 4xl can tell pixel provides smoother from day to day experience One UI still have stutter from time to time

@@adbhutspinogaming the performance had been incredible for me. I'm ALWAYS multitasking numerous things, doing my charting for work, watching videos, ordering stuff. Go over and take some video and pictures, you name it! I haven't had it get super hot, studder, hickup...anything. plus, that's all without a single update which we all know samsung phones get better with updates. Especially in the early times of a new phone. I'm beyond satisfied with it. To be honest, I get good battery life also. I've been getting 9 to 10 hours steady (more towards the 9 hours). If your on the fence, I can say my experience has been stellar.

With exynos and amd graphic this is not a same phone like snapdragon and adreno gpu.Exynos is inferior too much this time and amd is much slower and not good optimized gpu.Why sammy do that and thats why i didnt like to buy theirs note or gslaxy phone too much in Europe.This year 4nm 2200 exynos and amd vulcan gpu anounced to be amaizing,but its more contrairy than years before,but why push that and make a idiots from theirs customers because we love to give samsung ours hard earned money and for that we nead some love and respect back to us.This is not a plenty to ask for and i dont know any more,maybe it is,because we must buy inferior product for a same amount of money or litlle more,not less.Something EU with regulation nead to doo to protect us for be treated unfair like this.Its obvious that samsung make a lot more money pushing their cpu exynos agaist snapdragon,but exynos is worse of all,one medaitek had better cpu then exy and colaboration with amd is not helping because its inferior too against competitions.IM so disapointed because i like phone very much and now i nead to qiut.Update sw can help in future but not so much becsuse of hardware limitatiins and i really dont know how acomplished that with so many years in cpu making buisnes and one google making theirs first tensor and its compararabele with competition and they yust cannt or dont want too because markets like usa dont or want buy inferior produkts,just better or very comparabele.Batery and photography was also affected with diferent cpu gpu chip,but i know nead more tweaking and optimisation and with all of that still is and it bee still one inferior product and in my book this is cheeting and a treathing customers with no respect,but they legally can do this and they do really much,too much these time.

had it for 1 week, my BIGGEST issue is not the GOS or battery or anything else but actually the WAAAAAY too quiet Vibration Motor, am really used to hearing the faint vibration motor in my note10+. otherwise it's a KILLER upgrade!

The S22 Ultra is a beast. I've seen an extreme amount of movies on youtube and the like in the last week and every time I came to the same conclusion; The S22 Ultra is still the best smartphone out there right now. I'm not saying in all compartments, not that, but overall it's definitely the best. The others that are also good and have their positive points are the iPhone 13 pro max and the new Xiaomi 12s Ultra, although I must say that I expected more from the 12s Ultra. The Find x 5 Pro is also a good smartphone, but I notice in many videos that the device still suffers from stuttering during video filming and that is something you really don't want to have. Many people complain about the curved screen, I don't, I like it very much, it makes the smartphone more beautiful + there is still a cover around so it doesn't bother me. The screen of the S22 Ultra is also to die for, you pay the same or more for an iPhone, but the screen of the iPhone leaves something to be desired. I can already see the difference between the two. The S22 Ultra is also a beast in terms of brightness, I can read everything perfectly in full sun and with sunglasses on, I've never had this with a smartphone until now. Also some people say that the device is slow? That's a bit true, but you have to do 3 things; Turn on remove animation in the settings, then set the performance to the highest with battery and then activate the developer settings and you turn off the animation 3 times and then the S22 Ultra will fly. ;).

Regarding the S pen... the included S pen on my S7+ tablet is almost the size of a real pencil. The optional S pen on my S21U, was smaller, but still substantial. The S pen on my new S22U has greater functionality, but honestly, it feel more like a large toothpick in my hand.

Only problem I got is that my previous phone was the Huawei P30 pro and the battery endurance was sublime! I am spoiled after the P30 pro so this is something getting used to with the S22 ultra it can drain battery a lot with it's premium hardware.

On wifi around 7 hours is good man. Offcourse; Iphone pro max is the best yes but 6,30-7 hours is good ;). The biggest problem is on 4G/5G, i get in many cases max 4 hours then. Luckely i have always a external battery with me ;). So, no problem. Batterylife is not so important for me.

The durability of Samsung flagship devices is unbelievable. I purchased S9 Plus in 2018 and still using it. About to switch to S22 Ultra next week. I am sure it will be an exciting prospect. ❤️

I also bought the S9 at launch in 2018 and I still have it now. I love it, but I do fancy an upgrade. quite a price tag though

Same! Using a Note 8 since 2017, my S22 ultra will arrive next week, I can't wait! I think it will be the same experience like when I upgraded from my Note 2 to the 8, feels like changing universities.. 🤣 You probably already have your new phone by now, how is it?
