So glad to see this comparison! I currently have the s20fe and have kind of been torn between upgrading, granted I was a die hard note fan and love how Samsung incorporated the s pen on the 22 ultra....but honestly that's the only major upgrade other than the cameras....I find it INSANE to give up having expandable storage to having to pay hundreds of dollars for more storage...yessir I'm definitely sticking with my fe! Your upgrade would be using the money on a compact mirrorless camera or a point and shoot camera. Both of which will give you better image quality than the S22 Ultra, they weigh slightly abit heavier than the Ultra but costs similar or cheaper.

Even new Samsung users can just settle for the s20fe (bargain) and save up huge. But if one doesn't mind the price tag or the fact that some features have been cut off (SD card support), and just wants to go with the latest trends, the S22 ultra would do just fine.

I have the 4g 20fe since 1.5 yr bcoz 5g wasn't available in my country. The phone is great and I don't think there is a need for upgrade. The upgrade is for those only who want the latest and greatest.

I've been considering upgrading my S20 FE to the S22 Ultra, mostly for the screen/display. After trade-in/discounts, if I upgrade to the 256gb model, I'll be paying 650$. After listening to your review, It seems like there is not much to upgrade if all I care is the display. Have to hand it to Samsung, the S20FE is one awesome phone! Glad I Picked it up as soon as it came out in 2020. I am torn, to upgrade for a small bump in the display for 650$ or just wait for the S23 Ultra? I might wait, lol, now.

I've had the S20 FE 5g since it's intro. Been very pleased with it. It has been very solid and reliable to use. It has also been durable up till this last weekend when it got knocked out of my lap at the laboratory getting my blood drawn. The screen is not cracked or chipped but is not visible. I do have the insurance so I can get it replaced for the standard $99 deductible. My thoughts are should I upgrade (invest) the $99 now to the S22Ultra, or would I be better off waiting till the S23 is released? Long story blabbering when my true questions are; 1. How do the phones compare to comfortability while holding them for the same time periods? I have recently started exercising some cramping and aches in left hand while Holding for any extended period of time. 2. Kind of related, how does/or does the difference between rounded corners on the S20 and the more pointed, square corners of the S22 ultra affect comfortable holding, dexterity. Thanks for your videos. I find them very informative and direct to the bottom line which I appreciate. ps. I'm pretty impressed with your dexterity of operating left and right handed simultaneous coordination. 👍

Just a side note. Your stated prices on the S22 Ultra of $1200 is a direct full payment price I'm assuming. I'm with T-Mobile and I can get the Ultra for around $1000 not including any adjustments for trade-in values. I have an S9 that I have kept as my emergency backup. T-Mobile is offering a promotion on it guaranteed at $400.00 So I could get down to as low as $6-700hundred depending on storage I choose.

could you compare 1080p of red magic 6s pro or 7/pro on s22 ultra is it noticeable too. red magic has lesser pixels per inch than s20fe. red magic 7 has 387 pixels to be exact. i wonder how blurry it is compared to any phone with over 400pixels

how about night fotos/videos (also with zoom)? I think there should be the big difference in the camera quality? And making 8k videos I guess. Because the video or photo quality of the s22 compared to the s20fe here didnt quite convince me yet.

I have the S20FE and the S22 Ultra, I can tell you that the S20FE is a solid device and the battery life is very good and I have the 5G version , with 4G the battery will last even more . S20FE is a GREAT device .

It's sad that the newer s22 Ultra, with it's new/better cameras, has muddier images compared to the older s20 fe. I don't know if it's a problem with the focusing of the lenses, or if they just aren't as sharp, but the image quality of the 22 is lacking compared to the 20.

Storage shouldn't be a deterrent because we can always use google photos and backup and stuff. I have a Samsung and SD card and it requires me to download an app in order to access thing stored on the SD card. Also, the s22ultra comes with up to 1 terabyte of storage. The FE is a great deal for that price tag. If you're like me and you just need a phone to act as a camera, then the s22 ultra is perfect. If you just want a great phone with splendid camera quality for a good price, then go with the FE

Did you really call that s pen a stylus? Obviously this video had very little merit because you don't have enough technology experience to do such a video as calling an s pen a stylus. A stylus is just a dead instrument with no other capabilities other than putting pressure on a digitizer to make things happen. An s pen is a mouse, a remote control, and an electronic pen.
