I just bought a S22+, I upgraded from a Samsung S5 that I have had since it came out so around 8 years now. And what a phone it is the s22+, I was just blown away that I can see the screen at all in sunshine because I couldn't do that with my S5. Screen is beautiful and clear standing outside on sunny day, sound is way louder in speakers and actually quite thumpy for being a phone. Same with headphones, I notice I get more volume with this phone compared to s5 in my headphones. Don't even get me started on camera, it is night and day difference and takes really nice images and video. So far very happy, it is quite a bit heavier and longer than S5, I can handle it with 1 hand but I felt safer doing that with s5 for sure. I would not want to go back though, watching youtube with almost same size as my old phone while scrolling comments on the right side is great. I can only compare with my old s5 but I think people getting a bit picky and spoiled if they say s22+ is bad. It is an absolutely amazing phone in every way and anyone looking for a great phone will not be disappointed. I am super happy like a kid on Christmas.

​@@XMostaxX That is probably true, I did check the cheaper Samsungs and they still had 120 hz screens and looked great. It was more that I wanted the best camera and also a phone that won't lag. I heard some people complain about lag on these cheaper models since less powerful CPU/GPU. And when I will stream from my phone and more demanding programs will run in the background I want no issues.

Well done for sure. Next time you could include the battery related settings of the phones. Like GPS, Bluetooth, 120hz, always on display etc.. Still a lot more thoughtful test than forcing games/video recording until the battery is dead. This shoes actual SoT instead just comparing battery capacities.

This is 60Hz test. So 9h SOT is only for a fraction of people who are OK to use 60Hz. I personally have 3-4h SOT maximum with 120Hz.

Yeah from what I can tell it probably does since the adaptive refresh 120-60 hertz but than again snapdragon 8gen 1 is known for its heating issues plus the fact S22 plus has a brighter display so it could eat through a lot of battery but I still think S22 plus would win rather than S21 FE

Battery life is subjective to many factors. Brightness, cell signal and usage are the biggest. I can relate though my IPhone 12 Pro had terrible battery. Struggle to get to 5 hours SOC.

S22 is good with features loaded and it screen on time is 7.5 but with 3700mah, but it managed much & brightness in much may be quick discharge if use proper it works well a 8hrs above screen on time

People need to stop using SOT as a measure to how good or bad the battery is. Battery life depends on the type of SOT. A person can have great SOT because they don't play videos or games all day. One person can say they have great SOT. Another person can say they have bad SOT. But it all depends on each individual usages. Think of the best phone you ever had for battery life and use that as a measuring stick. For me based on all the previous phone I used before, my normal usages need to last over 24 hours on a single charge. I only need to charge the phone once. If I have to charge my phone twice in a 24 hour then I consider that bad battery life based on my own personal usage.

I dont know how you are using your s21 fe. I never get that kind of battery life. i am a college guy. I unplug my phone around 7:30am and I use my phone just for social media ,spotify on earphone,some youtube.I run my phone at 120hz. By the time at around 1:00 pm,the phone is at 40-42 percent battery. Till the phone reaches at 15 percent charge the phone has only around 3 hours 15 minutes of screen on time.The phone also heats up a lot. The phone is mostly on mobile data all day and it is a dual sim and it is an indian exynos model.Can you tell me how to improve the battery life? I have already put social media apps to deep sleep but it does not help at all.

I dont think the motor can be damaged, it vibrates too little to make an impact. Unless you dropped the phone and affected the motor but most unlikely and never heard of it

On the first comparison (at least) you had the S22 on flight mode while the S21 wasnt. So that tie maybe wasnt really a tie.

Sorry, I forgot to remove it on flight mode coz my sim was there and while doing the test a lot of people are messaging me to buy my stuff. I recognize it in the beginning and turned it off. It was still valid coz both phones were connected to wifi and not using mobile data. All good.
