I HOPE THIS COMMENT HELPS PEOPLE DECIDING BETWEEN THIN FIT AND ONYX: Onyx is much better in terms of protection, grip, and overall feel fore me on the s23. I like the design better and its more comfortable. It also pairs perfectly with spigen glastr ezfit, which works flawlessly with the fingerprint scanner. Definitely onyx is better than the thin fit Another update, Onyx is almost perfect, but i kind of hate that ive ordered several of them and none of them are QCed well. They are not entirely even around the phone, and some gaps between screen protector and case are larger on one side than the other. If that doesn tbug you, this case is great!

@@StickyGeko Glad i can help. I have to recommend the ringke onyx instead of the spigen thin fit because it feels more comfortable to hold. Only concern is that the texture is slightly slippery on the back. However the spigen thin fit is not slippery but it is sticky which is worse imo

I got this case in the color deep purple for my S23 lavender it really matches, perfect case it's slim thin and slick also grippy and very decent for the price tag!

Just got an s23 for myself and was confused between this and spigen Went with this one after some researching and it turned out to be totally worth it. I would 100% recommend this case over any other case if you are looking for slim fit cases

Why buy a black colour phone when you are going to put a premium black case. Pro tip : Buy the premium looking cream colour s23 phone and then buy 2 back covers from ringke. 1. The onyx black and 2. Fusion crystal clear . This way after you get bored of the colour of your cream s23 you can just change the cover to black onyx. It will give you a very good experience . You will thank me later 🎉

Initially the case was excellent, but after using it for just about 3months it has become so loose that dust is getting inside the case and the fit now is just wobbly.

I can't decide between Ryngke Onyx and Spigen Liquid Air. I am interested in the minimum thickness, grippniess of edges, ease of pressing buttons and screen protection. It's a pity there is no way to try them live. What I understood from the reviews is that Onyx's edges are more suitable for managing swipes.

@renepirsig7836 Thank you for your answear. I bought Liquid Air and original Samsung Silicone case... Spiden i like more, because it has better screen protector lips and not so boring design (excluding colors). I also bought a Chinese case for $5 and I also like it better than the original one.

I found the buttons on this case to not be as distinct as on the spigen cases, which I disliked. I also found the bottom cutout for the USB to dig into my pinky when holding the phone. I ended up returning this, despite loving the recessed bumpers for side gestures.

Got the case myself. Not perfect. The buttons could have texture, and the edge ridges all around could afford to be a smidge less obtrussive. Maybe a hair more grip on the back. Other than that it is excellent.

I have both these cases for my S23 the spigen liquid air and this ringke onyx case, and with the onyx the phone is thinner with more grip and a little lighter but not much! But for now i use the ringke onyx because it has more grip, and also the buttons are better clicky and tighter to see! 👍

I love, love, love the onyx. It is definitely one of my favorite phone case lines. I really wish they made a magsafe version of this case. Maybe in the future, once Qi2 comes out, then we will see more magsafe cases for Android phones. Here is hoping! Thanks for the review!!

Looks too thick for me. These companies make the backs way too thick (literally only needs to be 0.25mm). Rise should be no more than 0.5mm above the camera lenses as well. I prefer the Torras implementation to this one (have for my S22). I want even thinner for my S23 but haven't found an intelligently designed enough one so far.. :/ Amazon photos are very deceiving and companies always make the photos of the phone looks vastly slimmer than they are with the case on. They intentionally don't show you the profile view of this case like 3:19 of this video.

seems like the texture is grippier with ringke. I'm on the edge between this and thin fit from spigen. I heard from rdit thin fit case back isn't TPU material so less grippy but I really want that super thin case...

I have a difficult choice to make for the case for s23 After several tests and several here of searches on Reddit etc., I want to have the thinnest, elegant one, with a good grip and quite protective. Currently I have the Spigen Air Skin, my phone fell and unfortunately one of the corners of the s23 was damaged. I like the minimalist look, but not very protective. I also had the Spigen Liquid Air but I returned it because the grip wasn't great. Today I'm hesitating between the Ringke Onyx, the Samsung Leather Case, and the Spigen Thin Fit. I'm looking for one that doesn't add too much weight. Which one do you recommend?
