go in to settings > apps> and start looking at the apps (bloatware) that are running and start removing/stopping the ones you don't want/need. Google play services is necessary for some apps to run, but play store is not until you go into it. Also settings > battery and device care > battery > turn on power saving mode Should help - I know I've deleted a pile of the crap that came with this phone such as the dual sms messaging services (samsung and google both come installed - pick one, delete the other). I make calls, text and sometimes use the internet so my data, wifi and bluetooth are off almost all the time. Went from 10% usage in 5 minutes, to 3% usage in 4 hours. Depends on how much you need, but removing stuff you don't or disabling until needed really helps.

Here is my tip: Always On Display Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Always On Display You can change when it activates, its clock style, and set it to be in either portrait or landscape. And, in One UI 6, you can even change it to an Adaptive Always On Display.

@@Pari-ml7bf Nah. People are mad bc the most of the S23FE have the exinos processor. They were bad in the S22 series. Samsung optimized the exinos in the s23fe model. Many people say that after 1-2 Weeks the Battery learns your pattern and better.

I just got the s23fe after having Motorola for the last 3 1/2 years and miss the karate chop flash light on off feature. Went to the playstore and found it there and downloaded and installed it on my phone and now my Samsung s23fe has the karate chop on off for the flash light and it works really good.

same with moto. I was using the moto g stylus 2021 5g for 3+ years. 2 weeks ago I switched to the Samsung s23 fe. I definitely like this phone but tbh if I knew this phone didn't have a headphone jack or expandable memory I probably would'nt have got it.

@@lifeoftata1446 I wouldn't know what is fast draining on it yet , as I had a super old phone that did just text and talk on 4G. This is a major upgrade for me and if it wasn't for your video , after watching several others , I don't know what I'd do. I'm still going back and watching parts of your video over and making adjustments as I go along. Thank you! But to try and to answer your question. I've just been doing updates on software, getting rid of several apps. Shooting a few photos and videos of musicians in the area. To see what the phone can do. So it lasted 2 days the first time, down to 20 percent when I did that.

Does this phone have a feature that has different color notifications for different apps? I had a phone before that my phone would have a Blue flashing light for Emails but Green for DM or Red for Text so if I heard it from a distant but the screen is off I can tell what type of notification it is. Was just wondering

I have 4 pages of apps. How do I know which ones I can get rid of? My phone is the S23 FE. I am trying to set up my Home Page. As far as photos. When I take them should they go into photos or Gallery . I had a problem loosing several. Thank You this is a new phone for me and there are lots of new features.

I keep mine in gallery. I use One Drive for my cloud storage. I took my laptop and synced it with my phone via phone link. So everytime I take a pic it uploads to my PC. I've never lost photos that way. Not sure what cloud storage you use, but I hope this helped. As for your home screen having all the apps on it. I'm with you on that. I don't have any apps on my lock screen other than what is on the bottom per Samsung. For the other apps I hold onto them and a window pops up. I usually uninstall them. If you can't uninstall them it will say forced stop. Those come with the phone. I also add extra screens for the rest of the app I use. I hope this clarifies the million plus apps that also burn your eyes.

Want to use the DEX feature but I got a message saying that it also records from your phone, has access to your entire phone including passwords. For that I guess won't use this option. Too bad as it would be a great feature.

Mine has a screen that comes up every two minutes now ...that says useless amount of junk is in your system .and hasa delete or clear or x in upper right corner to delete but it's very Interruptive. And I've cleaned all.tbat. ..even un-installed oraclean...all.notifications are OFF 😮 2:54 2:56 2:58 2:59

During last update I lost my counter. What I mean is on your video here at :17 seconds in your screen shows the Red 1 near Call of Duty icon and the app just to the right of that. Well that used to show up when I had new text messages but now it's gone. Do you know how to get it back?

Yeah those counters are called icon badges. Just go into settings, and search "badges" and the option to toggle them on should come up in the results. If not it's in settings > notifications > advanced.

galaxy AI enable some tools in apps. Like image editor, samsung notes and the search when you press the home button (or navigation bar). For this, the phone must be in ONE UI 6.1 (S23FE can be already updated to this version)

I got one of these less than a week ago. I think it is poorly designed, difficult to use and almost impossible to see in some cases. Like WTF with light brown over mid-gray. Basically these morons are putting the same colour over the same colour is if intentionally making things invisible. The screen is very unresponsive. I have to tap and/or swipe endlessly to get anything to work. Many thinks are hidden. Many things are occult, that is, "INSTALL THIS" but we are not going to tell you what it is good for. There is a major design flaw where it is easy to accidentally get into the accessibility feature and thus lock yourself out of the phone. I had to go back to the dealer and they said that happens ALL the time. They had to do a Factory Reset to get the worthless piece of crap open again. The thing that really amazed me was, as far as useful functions out of the box, it had ONLY a phone, text messages, a calculator ... and that is all. NO calendar or scheduler, no MP-3 player, no notebook, no clock or timer. What a piece of greasy excrement this phone is. I might take it back. Why would I want a $1000 dollar computer which comes with three or four functions. It is like buying a car with no seats, windows, roof, fenders, radio, headlights and whatever. One more thing: the face detection thing DOES NOT WORK. It did not work on my last samsung and it DOES NOT WORK ON THIS ONE EITHER. All I want to do is smash this piece of rubbish into dust with a big hammer. What a piece of CRAP it is. Anyway my review: DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. IT IS USELESS.

Yes surely. I play both codm and bgmi and it handles it very well. As for Battery you may face issues during the first week but then it understands your usage patterns and improve the life. All the other aspects of the phone are excellent.

If you're on it constantly watching videos that's probably all you're gonna get. If you're at work and it's drained in 2 to 3 hours there's a problem and you should take it back.

Agreed. I refuse to buy this until there is some battery tests done. I'm worried about the 4500 mAH battery on the 8 gen 1 processor. I've heard from most reviewers and commenters it's better than s22 and doesn't overheat. But waiting for a better test.
