In todays video, I put the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus to the test by bringing you guys with me as I go through my day capturing pictures and testing the software. I was immensely impressed with the battery life of the S23 Plus after extremely heavy usage and I found videos to be comparable to the S23 Ultra. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the Galaxy S23 Plus and I'm happy to bring you guys this video.

Great video, really good approach to real-world usage. I'm going to be upgrading from an S20 FE to the S23+ later this year, so this is exactly the kind of review I'm looking for. You don't need to warm your car for 5-10 minutes. Any car less than 10 years old with fuel injection needs less than a minute, then start driving at a slow-to-moderate speed. Driving actually benefits the car, as it makes all the moving parts, well, move, and get properly lubricated. You live in California, it doesn't get that cold (I'm in Canada, we know cold), so excessive idling just wastes gas, puts unnecessary wear on your vehicle, and is bad for the environment.

@@tymeoutwithty822 I make sure the windows are all clear of frost and stay that way, so maybe 3-5 minutes, tops. My car has heated seats and steering wheel (happily!), I wear a good winter coat, so I don't need to let it idle for 10 minutes. It warms up quickly enough when I start to drive.

You're right with the car warming up thing. 👍😊 Some new cars need to be started and sat in Park until the RPM's go under 1 or so. This allows the oil to be picked up by the oil pump and sent to the top of the motor. Hence, the loud exhaust note on a cold start-up. Takes 15 seconds most of the time. I clean my sunglasses and I'm ready to drive off. Mazda states you need to warm up many of their new cars like this before driving off. Don't know about other manufacturers. Nice s23 Plus review, too! 🙏

Opinion a car with a 2 in front of the model year needs no more than 30-45 seconds max. The other commenter that said 15 seconds is what I do. It's not really something I think about. In cold weather I do let it warm much longer but usually only if outdoors. Loving the vids. Keep it up.

Warming up the car is a good practice. I know that car companies say 30 seconds is enough time but that's because they will sell you a spare engine after you bust yours.

It is actually bad to do a warmup. The best for your car is to turn on the engine, wait 30-60 seconds to get lubed properly then drive normal, without high revs until it has the optimal temperature. Same in the winter.

That's good battery life , you used the phone heavily and it gets to the 5 hours slot easy. I mean as a light user myself it would give me around 8-9 hours of a battery life in the day.

You no longer need to warm up your car. This was a practice from when cars were carbureted. But your car should be fuel injected. So there's really no need. That being said, if it's snowing outside or something, you will probably want to warm up the car to get the heater/defroster going. But you are in California, right?

U actually dont have to let ur new car warm up in idle,instead wait for like less than 10 sec and drive but make sure to keep it under 3k rpm for a few minutes..
