Been a galaxy owner since the S7. Apple has great phones and all but Samsung has really stepped up their quality and has provided a phone that doesn't have that generic feel that is inherent to Apple products. Came from a Note 20 Ultra and it's a nice upgrade just for the battery and display. No more choosing between resolution and refresh rate. You can get them both. Battery is amazing as well. Not to mention the cameras

22:55 but Saki as you'd know too, higher or highest brightness in a video doesn't necessarily mean that the quality will also be the highest. In fact sometimes it could even screw up the quality or at least make things too white-ish and not great to watch. So could you explain or elaborate more on this one? How is more brightness higher quality? Does it has to do with HDR? Thanks

My S23 Ultra doesn't arrive until tomorrow, so I tried the voice recorder widget thing on the S22 Ultra. It's installed, shows up in the widgets, I even moved it to the top! But when I tap the clock, only the weather widget shows...

Do you have the Samsung Members app? You can do diagnostics through there if you can't.

Saki, I am trading in my bulletproof Note 9 for the new s23 Ultra. The Note 9 is less than 5 years old and no longer gets software update or patches. Who made this decision ? Samsung ? Google ? How long do Apple phones get support ? Would I get a better value with Apple if they support their devices longer ?

You can set it to tap to show, always, new notifications or when scheduled, you can also tune the brightness and lastly the aod moves from time to time to protect the screen as you mentioned

All s23 ultra are new and should have same settings but strangely the voice recorder is missing in the lock screen area

Mine was also missing on my S22 Ultra with One UI 5.0. The fix.....delete the Voice Recorder app and then reinstall it. If it still doesn't appear on the lock screen, touch the clock, touch the "Settings" at the bottom and turn on the Voice Recorder option. It should work now.

Hi sakitech. Please I have a question, or maybe I should say an issue with my s23 ultra. With other phones that I've used, there's always a charging light that comes on once the phone is plugged for charging. It goes from red when charging to green, when fully charged. Also, if I have a missed calls/msgs, there's an led blinking light (cyan, red, blue, or green) to alert me even before I pick my phone. With this ultra, none of the lights show up for charging or missed calls/msgs. My phone vibrates so I know I have missed calls and msgs. But I still want the led light. How do I get it? Or is it unavailable on s23 ultra? Thanks.

I find that when you use the clock face app in goodlock and the one provided in settings it gets confused. The goodlock clock face always seems to override the one in the phone settings.
