It doesn't work..it tells you to enter the previous Gmail account and password to finish setup

This method is only for screen lock for google account you have to enter your previous id you use in google play store

@@techtipsandrepairing you don't understand I found the phone lost on the side of the road. I did everything you said & it worked, I'm in factory reset mode. It's still asking me to put the owners Google account email to continue setup
