The S21 Ultra is still one of my favorite phones. The S22 Ultra I kinda hated, but the S23 Ultra which I’ve had for a few days is pretty awesome. That said, if 1200 dollars seems like a lot to pay for a phone, you can’t go wrong with the still excellent S21 Ultra. I would happily use that phone today.

My S21U lost its water seal, I abused it. I was offered a free upgrade to the S23U, After research and realizing I would be hit with a downgraded display design,Front camera and Less system Ram. S21U max is 16gb, S23U max is 12gb. I am just replacing my S21 Ultra with another S21 Ultra, Really just seems like the best option.

Both great phones! I had the S21 Ultra for 19 months. Just upgraded to the S23 Ultra 3 days ago. The 21 was top heavy and just heavy in general. The 23 is about the same weight but more balanced. The 23 looks and feels more premium to me than the 21.

I've got the S21 Ultra and, even though I have the Exynos version, I see no reason to upgrade. It will get two more years of systemupdates, so I'll be looking to replace it after that time. I would love to see a Galaxy S Plus with the Ultra camera module, I don't need the s- pen and I don't like the boxy Note look of the two recent Ultras.

Only reason to upgrade is the great battery life of the S23 Ultra. I had the Exynos S21 Ultra and now I have the S23 Ultra. Big difference in battery life glad I upgraded.

I usually wait for the newest flagship to come out and buy last year's at a discount/ refurbished. I have my S21 Ultra on battery protection mode and make it through the day, so I'll probably buy the S24 Ultra when the S25U comes out. Saves me money and makes the upgrade feel like an actual upgrade to me.

S21 ultra is better looking, it's has been my daily driver for 2 years, now I have switched to S23 ultra. I can tell that S23 ultra is faster and smoother, camera also better especially in mixed lighting and low light, low light video has improved . Battery life way better. So overall it's nice upgrade if you are after faster, smoother experience with better battery life and camera.

Yeah, s21u processing is insanely powerful to this day. I was shocked how inferior s22u's main cam was compared to s21u. They did fix it after 6 months, but even then it didn't outperform s21u

i'll be honest, I like the look of the 23 Ultra, it looks more high end, ultimately that really doesn't matter so much since the phone would be kept in a case at all times, the big thing thats enticing me is now that the phones are out Verizon has upped the antae and for existing customers is offering a $1,000 trade-in credit if I trade in the 21 Ultra, which would make the phone only cost like 10-11 bucks a month for 3 years for the 512GB or 5-6 bucks if I stay with a capacity of 256GB and thats just so cheap it's peaked my interest, part of me wants to wait another year as the S21 Ultra is still a perfectly good phone, the idea of the new battery (not one with almost 2 years of degradation) and more efficient CPU meaning longer battery life even if the 21 had a new battery has me wondering if it's worth just pulling the trigger. Gonna watch some videos on S-Pen uses, having it included and integrated may sway if any of the uses can be useful to me.

Personally I have an S20 ultra and an S21 ultra. I don't really see the point of changing unless I have a very good opportunity (which happens to me often). The S23 doesn't interest me too much, especially since I'm not a fan of the S pen and since the S21 ultra supports the S pen... The price of the S23 ultra is exorbitant. Maybe I'll take it in 2 years and again.

I got the s22 ultra last year and had the exact same problem when I compared it to my s21 ultra, it was brighter but it definitely wasn't as colourful.. the speakers were worse aswell so I just sent it back.

Compare the phones in 12 months when the S23 is optimized in software and better firmware updates. The S23 has only just come out and not even optimized. Its like the latest graphics cards, never optimized at released

Bruh, mobile games aren't sh*t. If you want to know which has better gaming performance you have to use console emulators like dolphin, aethersx2, citra or skyline. And trust me the S23 ultra is a massive improvement over all series before it. The performance is epic where the S21 & S22 lagged on the more graphic intensive games. That's how you measure performance.

I laugh at everyone saying the s21 ultra is better when i have both right now and its def not better. Consurmers are funny they just ahve to say things to feel better about not getting the newest thing. Also vuys thw s23 ultra is a good bit brighter so the camera blows ot out a bit the saturation on the s23 is actually better also. Colors pop that much more. You have to use both phones daily and you will realize its a much bigger difference rhen expected with the no hiccups or glitches or any lagging everything stays open when it should all of these things add up. I've yet to have a hiccup with my s23 ultra the s21 ultra honest users will tell you it isn't perfect.

S21 ultra is still a premium phone and don't regret it! Sure, I miss my note 9 which was the best phone ever at the time, but NO REGRETS with S21 ultra! With more future updates, I am sure the software and cameras will improve. Definitely not shelling $1200 to have the "latest and greatest". In fact, the S21 ultra has 12GB of REAL physical RAM vs S23 ultra which uses a swap file to virtualize ram (8GB physical + 4-8GB swap file) more ram which is slower!!! BOOO FOR S23 ULTRA!!! NO THANKS!!! I AM KEEPING MY S21 ULTRA!!!!
