I believe that samsung doesn't want to increase its charging speed from 25 or 45 watt in mobile devices for multiple reasons. 1. To make it compatible with most PPS (programmable power supply) PD chargers because those are equipped with AFC (ADAPTIVE FAST CHARGING FOR SAMSUNG) this saving junk chargers at home for users. 2. Almost all Gan chargers above 15W will support samsung devices so why stick to silicon chargers. 3. Faster charging needs more current, more current means more heat, samsung has had a hard lesson when its mobiles that used to explode or burnt in the past. 4. Faster charging also deteriorates battery faster, hence even apple doesn't support high speed or high current charging. 5. Being a top preffered global provider in Android devices it is very well researched. 6. With charging i would like to add Green line issue also, any amoled devices can have it, irrespective of brand. Its on your luck now, 7 years of update or 5 years, the screen lifetime and battery health and usage will determine, nothing is forever. 7. For samsung, its not difficult to give a wooping 240 watt charger or charging capability, but they are smart and wise enough to keep holding their roots. They never compete on charging wars because it may be catastrophic.
