I just bought the S24 Ultra after using the 15 Pro Max and I'm realizing just like you how crazy of a device it is at being an all-in-one machine from being a phone, to handling work with meetings and emails and docs, to gaming, to being a photo beast. Samsung is king of mobile phones. And I'm a guy that is completely in the Apple Ecosystem. The S24 Ultra is SO GOOD! It makes iPhone look like a baby. The S24 does everything better and customized to my exact specs.

Hi Gary, if you know you want the full menu without having to view the Notifications, when you swipe down from the top, use two fingers at the same time, it will give you the full menu without having to re swipe a second time. Just a thought... All of the Samsung phones that I've owned have been that way.

Hey Gary, as someone who has went from iPhone,iPad,Apple Watch to the Samsung equivalent. Which do you prefer. I’m debating making the same switch but just looking for other opinions from people who did the same. Great videos.

I'm going back and forth myself right now. I like the hardware from Samsung better, but I have A LOT tied up in my apple accounts (wallet, family account, etc) where its really tough to swap between the two.

The ecosystem is pretty solid from Apple my down for apple is the apple watch can't be used or even activated unless you have a iPhone earlier generations could be done on an iPad or ipod touch.. I work in tech, so I'm also constantly switching back and forth, too. I also had too many ties to the Apple ecosystem, but it's getting easier to overcome. Apple Music coming to Android was a huge help, and when Apple starts to support RCS soon, I'm hoping it breaks down the SMS vs iMessage barriers a little bit (holding my breath on that one). I switched from the iPhone 14 PM to a Google Pixel 7, and recently pre-ordered the S24U, so I'm not looking back now. In the past I've had alot of switcher regret, but that's gotten a lot easier to overcome, and haven't had any impulses to switch back this past year.

The connected devices feature doesn't need to be in Dex mode. I just tried it in tablet mode with my Tab S7+ ans S23 Ultra.

The organization of the notes into categories is insane. My notes on my old S21 got out of hand with things without titles, no logical theme or order. Now they have colour themes so I can better organize my work notes and personal notes

Oh nice, I hope it works out just as well. I assume with that gigantic battery it should easily make it a full day on 80%. But we'll have to find out for sure in a follow up.

I use the routine feature to enable battery protect from 10:00 pm until 6:15 am. It then switches off and my phone reaches 100% charge right at the time my alarm goes off. So it's fully charged but it hasn't been sitting on the charger at 100% for hours.

I had to do it wirelessly because if you go low batt you can't charge and transfer at the same time. Also, you'll need to restart the whole process if you go low batt.

I believe its a single sim tray but can also take an E-Sim at the same time for two sim capability.

Yes it's a dual Sim tray the new s24 ultra when I take my Sim out u put your first Sim on top then flip the tray over and put second one on the back.

Yeah, I had a Note 9 six years and am in awe how cheap these things are now. S24 Ultra, screen meh, no function button, no virtual home button, no HP jack, no SD, no more headphones or charger in box There is literally nothing the S24u can do my old one wasn't able to. They only took things away and charge double the price, as the prices don't go down anymore as they used to because there is no more innovation only lockdown.

Hi Gary. Thank you so much for the very helpful video. I'm thinking of switching from iPhone 14 Pro to S24 Ultra and I want to ask about the cable you used to transfer your data. So the cable should have on the one end lighting and on the other end usb c. Correct? And the other question I have is about the esim card. When you transfered you data you transfer th esim too? Or this is a separate process?

No it was the included USB-C cable for the S24 ultra. The 15 pro max also has USB-C. You'd probably need the 14 PM cable that has lightning and USB-C to do the same thing. I didn't transfer an E-SIM so I don't know if that would happen at the same time, but you should be able to work with your carrier to get the E-SIM swapped.

Yes, with magsafe case. I bought a few, but will probably return them. Magsafe charging technology is so slow.

Can you not do the dual screen technology with the galaxy S23 ultra and the tab? Also, isn't the AI feature which allow you to circle-search things in the S23 ultra too? The only thing I don't like about the 24 ultra is the corners which look very sharp because they have taken the curvature so I am thinking of going for the S23 ultra. What do you think?

Yes you can do it the S23 also. The AI staff only with the 6.1 update. But the S23 will receive that too.

My S24 Ultra came in Saturday, which I upgraded from the S21 Ultra. It's worth it in my opinion. I only paid around 700 for the phone after doing the trade in program and got a bunch of samsung stuff like a case for free.

That's weird, after seeing this comment I plugged in my Hollyland Lark M2 and my DJI wireless mic's via USB-C and both worked. I have noticed there is no difference between natural and vivid modes, but its a pretty saturated screen to start off with.

I love Samsung! Everything your showing, my S22 Ultra can do & the S23 Ultra. I chose a picture in my gallery, then tapped on an object, then tapped on the "Eye Icon" top right & boom, like Circle to Search on my S22 Ultra! But, my S24 Ultra will arrive tomorrow, supposed to have gotten it yesterday 😢 I've been waiting on that Flat Display! The camera's will pair to any Samsung Tablet, which your the 1st to show, that I've seen. It'll pair to my Tab S7+ 🤟

Not everyone is a big fan of AI. Samsung said they are going to add on AI feature on S24 some of those maybe exclusive and some of them you may even pay to use on monthly basis or to unlock over the life of the phone. If you read the fine print AI feature will end in 2025 from then samsung will make you pay in order to use these AI feature. So think twice before buying S24 unless you don't mind paying all these stuff monthly.😊😅😮

It literally took me 5 minutes to clone my old phone to this s25 ultra.... he was wrong when he said it would be faster via cable.... i had 1 plus nord 2 5g did clone phone onto my s24 ultra and within 5 to 7 minutes it was like looking at my oneplus menu all apps photos emails ect exactly the same i was mind blown 😂
