had the S21 for 3 years, and upgraded to the S24, and somewhat disappointed. im a casual user( internet, social media apps, camera) and i really cant see any significant improvement. not even in the camera, which you need to shoot in a very extreme dark conditions to really see a difference. the only thing which is noticeably better is the battery, but i think its more related to the 3 year battery degredation, than to the actual smartphone.

I had a s21 5g exynos and upgraded to a s24 ultra snapdragon and the difference is really noticeable, everything runs way smoother and faster. I guess the biggest impact I saw was on Android Auto, my s21 took over 10 seconds to load and the phone was really laggy while loading, meanwhile the s24 ultra just pops on my car and no lags whatsoever

S21 is by far one of my favorite phones I've ever owned I have the s22 ultra every since then but that has 21 display was just phenomenal I know it was just a 1080p but there was something about it everything just popped and it had the classic Samsung colors I used to just look at it like oh my god this displays awesome
