The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 which will be used in S25 Ultra has been rumored to drop ARM’s CPU designs on multiple occasions, with Qualcomm switching to its custom Oryon or Phoenix cores. The upcoming SoC is said to be mass produced on TSMC’s updated 3nm process, so it will likely tout improved power efficiency compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Would anyone like a phone without buttons like putting digitizers on the side where the volume and power button is or is that too complex and troublesome? I think the only problem is accidental touches and drop shock resistance.🤔 I just Google the idea as I typed this it's already been made.😑

Phones are getting faster but humans are not. I have an S23 Ultra as a daily phone and a Huawei P20 Pro as backup. The Samsung is clearly faster but for daily use I can detect no real difference. I am not a gamer nor do I do photo or video editing with my phones. I bought the Samsung for its camera and I am very happy with it. The camera is better than that on the Huawei but again without using that 10x zoom most pictures do not look a lot different. Obviously the software helps out a lot here on the newer phones. I think that we have reached a point where very few people are going to be able to make any benefit from more speed as the phones work as fast as their users can make them. The fact that a 6 year old phone can feel almost as quick as last years top of the range android suggests that we are making the most of the performance available and it is the software that makes a difference now.

They need a 10/12bit panel instead of the poor 8bit panel that the s24u has. They also need to remove the 1000nit brightness cap for indoor use.

Most probably they are getting paid by Apple in order to slow down sales of S24 ultra that is an incredible phone with 7 years of upgrades that is taking the market by storm.

Tech never stands still. 3nm 8Gen4 with 50% better performance than 8Gen3, Sony sensor, new design via ex Mercedes design consultant, variable optical zoom and 50Mp Ultrawide, 16Gb of RAM and a 2Tb storage option, all sounds good enough to me.

​@@ingkatsikasThere genuinely may be something in what you say about leakers trying to hit S24 sales, but all this doesn't mean that these specs are false. Many are from Samsung leak sources. It is about time Samsung really raised the bar anyway.
