This video shows how we repair water damage mobile phones, This Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini i8190 was sent into us for a water damage repair service, the phone had been to the O2 repair center of which they told the customer it was water damaged and was not covered by warranty. The customer told us that the phones screen would go blank but the O2 repair center stated the phone screen is flickering and now not working. But after a full strip and clean its now fully working again.

My wife dropped her phone down the toilet. She removed the battery and put it in the airing cupboard to dry out. It worked OK for about 2 months and then developed a problem where the display would keep coming on when plugged into the charger. Followed your video and found a couple of corroded connectors. I want to say a huge Thank you for making and sharing this video. I took a dunk in the river and did what I knew, took the battery out dried it in the part of my sweater that was still dry and as soon as I got home, I put it in rice. I was so impatient and unwise I tested after two hours and it turned on then immediately after the screen fizzled out. I panicked and took the battery out again and left it in the rice for 24 hours. I tried my phone and nothing. Not plugged in with battery not plugged in without the battery, nothing. I was devastated and trying to figure out how to get another phone. I thought maybe I could find something on KZbin and I found your video. I watched it twice and got up the nerve to try to fix my phone. I followed your steps, did every step exactly and OMG THE phone actually worked! It acted odd for a couple of hours like it was possessed but wow after that it's as perfect as it was before. I am very grateful for your tutorial. You really really saved me from a very difficult month if I had to buy a new phone. :)

Hello Luis You have corrosion on the motherboard and thats stopping the screen from working. Hi sir, I was recently using my Samsung S3 mini in pouring rain for my Biology assignment, I did my utmost best to shelter it, but it as getting severely wet in the process. Strangely the phone was working during the rain, and even after. I even tried charging my phone and found no faults. However, later on during the day I would try to charge my phone once more,as it had low battery, but it would refuse to charge, the phone itself was fully functional minus the foggy camera. could you pls help

I have that phone also. My concern is, it has a built-in app, " vyhody " and " uz vim proc " ? I don't know what are those. But when I checked them out on the internet, I've found out that it doesn't affect (harm or slow) my phone. But I'm here in Philippines and I don't know how to use them.. it don't have any translations. What should I do with it? Keep them forever??

Hi! This was so helpful! I've had this phone almost a year when last month the screen went black and it would NOT turn back on for anything. I tried to disassemble it like in this video and everything was fine except I could not get the motherboard to come off for some reason the screw wouldn't budge.... after reassembling it however it still would not turn back on.... help?

Hello! I found this video really helpful. I have the identical phone and send it off to the O2 repair centre for it to be sent back in the same condition with them saying it was liquid damage. My phone works okay.. though when I unplug it from being charged It wont reconise that I have taken the charger out and will tell me its charging when its not ( the battery life is poor now too ). It also wont let me make any phonecalls or texts.. though the signal is fine and its got nothing to do with the simcard. The storage capacity seems to have shrunk aswell- it doesnt let me download small files even after deleting larger ones to make room. How much would you charge to fix my phone? Thankyou.

My S3 mini took a swim with me in my pocket in a river and didnt notice untill a few min later when i took it out i imediatly took out the battery and let it dry then when i got home a couple of days later i put it in rice turned it on. it worked accept that the screen goes green or flashes the brightness of whateveres on the screen but now it jus turns all green. everthing works but that
