Some LCD doesn't have adhesive tape specially at the top and bottom of the screen where the function keys are located. Make sure you it does have before buying new lcd replacement.

Okay, hoping this gets answered. Have an s6 that the bf is attached to. Stepped on it and the lcd digitizer and all of that is ruined. We have another s6 that is unused, but all pictures and info are on the one currently needing fixed. Is it possible to put the mother board of the one that needs the lcd display into the working s6? Would all info be there that was on the previous phone?

got to the part of replacing the antenna wires but no matter how much I try they will not re-connect, near impossible to line up properly, spending hours on this. very frustrated.

the touch on my s6 edge works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. Its like the phone is fully functional everything else works except the touch. and when the touch stops working the brightness goes dim. so basically its a combined problem of low brightness and screen not responding. my phone is out of warranty and i dont understand what to do. please could u tell me what could it be? ) please it would be great if you could tell me the possible reasons

I think i screwed my s6 up ...i accidentally cut that tiny ribbon cable that is part of the lower left button next to home button. Did this ruin my phone permanently? My new digitizer arrives tomorrow. If my phone is no longer repairable i wont even open the digitizer and i’ll send it back where i bought it.

Hi, I bought the digitizer and waiting for it to be delivered, my concern is on display I notice that the screen has the cable showing up at the top of the screen not on the side, does this mean I'll have to connect the cable to the one that clips on to the motherboard? Please advise.

my galaxy s6 screen isnt cracked but i believe the lcd is broken and might be the issue. It shows a black screen but only flashes the blue light when plugged in. is this what i have to do to fix that issue?

Will a bad digitizer cause the pulsing blue light? I replaced the battery in my S6 and it won't turn on even with a hard reset procedure. It charges up though but then the blue light pulses for a while and then nothing.

samee, I didnt do the reset though cuz the screen is black, just pulsing blue light forever. did you find what was the problem?

@@stovallholmes3060 my screen turned out to be broken (it fell from me and the screen broke from the inside) so went to samsung and they changed the whole screen. Good news: all your data will still be available

I paid about 40 KD (I live in Kuwait) but it was supposed to be 60 KD cuz they said they will be replacing the silver frame too since it's quite bumped and new screen won't fit in it. But they changed their mind later lol. It might be cheaper where you live though. No need for a thank you, good luck hope it works out!! 😊

Looks like a good video except this video moves too fast. From 4:18 onto 6:10 I could not get a good clear view of what to expect, so its hard to follow thru. I just need to replace the digitizer, front screen is intact.
