Resolution isn't megapixel. To use the full screen it changes the resolution. Let's say your resolution is 5 2. Obviously that isn't an actual resolution, but it means vertically it has 5 pixels, and horizontally it has 2. To even it out it has to use a lower resolution to make it fit the screen.

The screen alone should be enough to sway you. Once you get used to the oled screen it's hard going back to an led, the double resolution helps too but that's almost negligible compared to the better contrast /colours
