Did not help me at all. I did everything you said to do and it didn't work. The menu never came up. I don't know if it makes a difference that I have a screensaver or a picture that comes up that I have to swipe to get to the place where I have to draw the pattern, but should that really matter? note for those that found it to not work: IMMEDIETELY hold the power and volume up button after the screen turns off, i guess theres a timeframe for when it detects stuff like that.

Thanks for your video and channel. However, my issue is I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 SM-T577U but it's locked with a PIN and FRP is on and would not allow me to access the Wipe/Factory Reset option. I've tried all methods to boot into device's recovery mode, but only the wipe cache option is available. And that option does not reset the device. I do not know any security details about the device; the folks I bought it from are not allowed to offer any help. Would you offer any advice as to how to wipe this device?

When i try to reset mine it goes to a turquise color screen and says " WARNING A custom OS can cause critical problems in device and installed applications. If you want to dowloqd a custom OS, press volume up key. Otherwose press volume down key to cancel.

You don’t need to hold the buttons until the menu pops up, once it vibrates the first time you can let go of the buttons and give it a sec and it’ll pop up the menu. I’ve done it plenty of times

This didn't work for me. I have one of the first Samsung Tab A's and all it did was go to the main screen. I was forced to reset through the normal way. Verify I owned the device, verify I owned the account and then 2FA verify twice...
