Samsung users perceive the snapdragon chipset to be the Holy Grail, it'll be interesting to see if this product sells with the new chipset.

When qualcomm uses the TSMC nodes they are always better than Exynos which will never use TSMC node, but Samsung's own nodes. It's not that Snapdragon > Exynos, but it's TSMC > Samsung. PS: The mediatek chip uses a TSMC node, so it should be better than Exynos at least. Might be on par or better than an equivalent snapdragon soc.

Not at that price point no. I remember reading the Tab S9 with Snapdragon chips also didn't sell well. And it's because it's too bloody pricey for too little new features. The same should apply to this new tablet. And while the chipset may play a part, but i think not many people cares about it like the nerds that we are. Most will be more interested in the pricing than the specifications itself.

Not likely to be much more successful maybe even less sales than tab s9, you get a worse processor while paying apple money android tablet, anti reflective screen (which can be applied and bought on tab s9) and same ai features that you can get on s9 series .

Mediatek processors are awful. They don't age well and are always meant for low end hardware like Fire Tablets. The HTC ONE m9+ was embarassing with that mediatek processor. Qualcomm still can't compete with apple but its the best chip on android.

Brothers unfortunately the new chipset Dimensity 9300+ had defeated the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 by a few points

Just got an s10 Ultra 512 version. Only reason is Samsung offered $750 for my s9 plus also a free keyboard case.

What he didn't mention is that the magnetic case is only available for the Samsung A9/A9 Plus model lol. The all mighty 💵💵 still ruins all.

I don't like this size. After using the S8 Ultra, I can confidently say that I would never buy it again. I prefer the 11-inch size. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn't updated their Tab S9 this year. It's worth noting that the Tab S10+, while updated, is not much better than the S9+. As for the Ultra, the Tab S8 Ultra does 95% of the stuff, so upgrading is probably a big waste of money due to the £1200 cost of the Tab S10U and Samsung only offering £130 trade-in on the S8U. It follows the trend of tablets being a mature product with people keeping them for longer and longer, close to five years on average. That is why Apple still reigns supreme by including the best chip, currently the M4, that will be contemporary in five years' time. The fact that Apple's M2 from 2022 will dominate the Tab S10U in 2025 despite being three years older is a massive positive and even the M1 can still have on-device AI. I'm not sure any Android tablet from 2021/2 had that future-proofing.

Totally agreed. This device will still appeal to many people though, 1 being the price, 2 being the size and 3 the software. Being cheaper than an iPad pro is a massive edge, the size while being big, is great as a laptop replacement for some people who wants to do simple presentation and creative work. And with dex, being the only true desktop mode for any form of tablet, less windows tablets, it allows a very good multi tasking for the abovementioned work. I am in conflict now, because I want to get an iPad pro m4, but the iPad os is so dog shit and doesn't allow good multi tasking. Which is a massive turn off for me. But at the same time, as you wrote, there's no future proofing on the Samsung tablets.
