i tried this method and i cut off the exact same capacitor which managed my tablet to work for an hour or 2, until later on it went back to being dead, how do i fix this?

Hi i have the same s4 tablet that is dead. It charges at 0.36a only but it does not turn on. I removed the shield but instead of this black capacitor it has two small ones

Hi, I have also the same problem with a SM-T830 It is totally dead and it take only 30 to 50mAh when hookup to a charger, so you can conclude that is does not start to charge because of the (Power-IC PMIC) powervisor protection IC. Does anyone have found a solution to this problem?
