I broke my screen 1 day after I bought the tablet. So I replaced it. And for those who are wondering, yes Spen still works if you replace the screen, but. On the back of the screen there's a little wacom module. And this is what makes the Spen works, you have to remove it from your old screen (I used WD40 to dissolve the glue) and a hot water pad. And glue it on the back of your new screen with B-7000. It worked perfectly for me. And my screen is brand new for 56€

Is it possible for people that do repairs on tablets to take out original parts and put in cheap parts in it? Kinda like a car? Genuinely asking if so how much parts and what specifically can all be taken out of this specific tablet the s6 lite? And what kinda problems could the tablet have? Asking because i took 2 of these tablets to get fixed just the screens were cracked but if any of what i asked is possible I'd like to know what to look out for when i get them back im just worried because one of there reviews someone said when they got there phone back that there phone was really slow after having it repaired at the place that i took my kids tablets to

Very good guide on how to do a proper replacement. Replacing just the glass is not doable by yourself without the right equipment, and special OCA glue you need/ training. If you haven't done any device repair, it's highly recommended to take it to a reputable repair shop. You can generally save on costs if you provide the correct part, however most shops won't honor any work or manufacturer defects of the screen unless it is their own.

@@juanignaciocarreno5762 take the Wacom module on your original screen, and put it on new screen (Wacom module is that small board on your lcd beside the flex cable connector, if you just connect the flex cable without puting the Wacom module in the screen, the s pen wouldn't work)

I attempted this today and it all seemed fine until towards the end and now neither screen will display, light up or anything. Does this sound like ribbon cable damage - I've ordered another ribbon/flex cable to see if this is the case, just worried I've done something worse!

What spray product do you use to unstick the display? But at the end of the video you used a glue to glue it right? Is the B7000 good as a glue?

B7000 would work to glue it back on , to remove it IPA is probably best because it is safe for electronics
