Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE Review: I like big Tabs and I cannot lie!

Your review was good but you were asking a lot from the device at the price point it is offered. Comparing it to iPad air 3rd gen and 4th gen...... 1. the keyboard with Samsung FE is much more tactile and less expensive. 2. the keyboard cover encloses the entire device rather than just the screen. 3. the freaking s-pen is free and is much better for writing than the apple pencil which has a hard plastic tip that slides on the glass...making it suitable for sketching. 4. the processor is no match for A12 or A14 Bionic, but you don't need that much power when all we use it for is content consumption, taking notes, and working on office-based tasks. 5. it is expandable storage. 6. Screen size and aspect ratio is much more favorable that what iPad offers at the same price. 6. No one uses the camera on a tablet for taking scenic photos...we all use it for documents and occasional snaps. (we have our phones for photography right) Need I say more. I am currently using iPad 3rd Gen, which was a better deal when i bought it in Dec 2019. But I would definitely buy FE over it today. All I am saying is to keep the demands in check.

The aspect ratio of samsung tabs 16:10 are better for watching videos and movies but for note taking and web browsing the 4:3 aspect ratio in the ipada are better .

You did not say that the S-Pen can stay inside the case too. You can put the S-Pen on the back of the tablet or inside the case (the empty space between the tablet and the keyboard, there is a magnet there to hold the S-Pen.)

The top edge of the tablet is magnetized as well and can hold the pen rather securely with the nib facing to the left. Useful when the tablet is set up with the keyboard.

Yes it is. I am tab s7 + user. I also ordered it yesterday. but also you can put samsung pen in the middle of keyboard cover case it prevents loosing ur samsung pen. Moreover it can do full flat in order to write down and draw something u want.

This tablet is ridiculously overpriced at close to 50k for a TFT display, a single 13mp camera and a Snapdragon 750G. You can get a phone with this chipset with an amoled screen and a high refresh rate and much better multiple cameras for around 20k. So really, you are paying 30k premium for a bigger screen (but TFT) and the S-pen. Only fools will buy this. Oh, and I forgot to mention the wifi variant has the 30% faster 778 chipset for a lower price and where the chipset is 5g capable but Samsung has deliberately crippled it by disabling 5g. This is a scam in itself and I am stunned that no KZbinr has till now called out Samsung for offering a faster tablet for a cheaper price.

Agreed that Samsung Note will be very useful for making notes on this tab but can we read PDFs and annotate on them without any fuss in this tab? If yes, which pdf reader does it use for the above purpose? Also can we use pages on that pdf editor? Is the app free or paid? My primary usage revolves around reading and marking important stuffs. So will this tab be useful for me or should I go for another one?

You can do that in samsung notes itself by importing your PDFs. Simply put just go to file manager and open the PDF with samsung notes. And it's absolutely free

It magnetically attaches to the back of your tablet for easy storage and charging. And, with fast charging, you can quickly power up your S Pen between meetings and never skip a beat. This is according to my cell service provider. I have not received my tablet yet so I cannot advise on how to check the charge level

I always use a mouse when doing productive work and never use the toach pad, I thing it is better this way and easier to open with one hand. The kick stand needs two hands to open.

I will never ever pay a subscription to a freaking drawing app. I don't draw to waste my stupid money. That defeats the whole purpose, I'm perfectly fine with Autodesk and Concepts free versions, and if they start asking for money to use it, I will get rid of my tablet immediately and switch back to paper. I have thought about this issue too and was looking for a Windows tablet so I can work on Excel like I can on my laptop, but here in the US there is a 5G version. So I plan on opening spreadsheets through the Chrome browser, which has the same functionality of using the Action Pen under the draw tab to write in the cell and Excel will 'type' it in.

The keyboard is very slow when typing double leters (leTTers). Backspace is super slow. Keyboard SUCKS. Great if you are 30 WPM. Anything more and it is junk. Wont keep up.

No oled no high refresh rate the stylus is normal when compared to the normal tan s7/s7+ the processor is meh for the price The lag is >30ms on the stylus The chip is 5g capable but 5g is disabled in India Also recently Samsung bunked the update cycle for the tab s7 Fe it's only quarterly updates now. And worst part the tab s7 is not that expensive. Camera in back and front is better in tab s7 There are more speaker in tab s7. Only con would be that the tab s7 is a bit small.
