If you go to display (in settings) and go to touch sensitivity and turn it on. you can then use your finger so you don't need to use the pen all the time or open the case.

@@WIHRC I have tried it with the case. I bought the white one and then the black one on sale. I like the case so far been using it for 3 months I think. It does wear the nib of fast tho but I use the steadler noris with it.

Just looked this up. Looks like it's way sturdier than the pen that comes with these tablets. Am I right in thinking that then button on it can evoke air commands also?
@AdeelMuhammad8 ай бұрын
You can still use your fingers to use the tablet with this case on, it just that the touch reponse is reduced to 75%-80% while this case is ON.

Thank you for the review. I think Samsung should improve this a bit. They should have made this like an "inside cover" to the book cover. It would protect it better, and you could open the outer cover and have this writable inside cover for writing on. If you didn't want to use it, you could just flip the inside cover out of the way and use the tablet normally with your fingers. Hopefully, they will keep improving on this.

Thanks for watching. Honestly never thought of it like that but it makes perfect sense when you put it that way. I honestly feel that Samsung's design team always misses the mark but has great potential to make perfect cases if they would just take a bit more time to understand how people would use them. In this case I always thought that the front cover didn't make sense especially when you factor in wear and tear. I'm pretty sure that people don't want to walk around with a case that looks like a bear was playing with it so your design explanation makes more sense and I hope they adopted in the future.

Thanks for the review on this. I think I will hold off getting one. If it was a lot cheaper I might. Thanks again. Looking forward to more reviews from you.
@WIHRC2 жыл бұрын
No problem. My thoughts are the same. It should be cheaper or that there just should be more to it. It would be interesting if they had this as a screen protector of some sort instead. There are definitley more reviews on the way.

For those with the Note View that are concerned about the pen tips wearing down....just go buy a Wacom One stylus pen and be done with it. It has the plastic and/or felt tip and will play very nicely with the Note View screen. Done! BTW, the Wacom One pen DOES WORK ON THE GALAXY TABS and Most other Samsung tablets including the Notebook Pro 15s

Just to note, you can boost touchscreen sensitivity in the settings (Touch sensitivity option, originally made for thicker screen protectors or gloves in mind), and then regular touch also works with the tablet and it has really small tax on the battery. Thanks for the review btw the price of them is still insane, even so the dont offer too mauch protection. Also a new set of spen nibs are around 10USD, (and around 3 is in a package IIRC, and even better priced if you buy it from aliexpress), so the wear shouldnt be a big issue

Appreciate the tip and glad you enjoyed the review.. Not sure if they also have this case for the S9 Ultra, but I'll definitely pick one up when I get the tablet and try this out. Samsungs prices have been a bit funky as of late, so I'm not too surprised, honestly. I'll take a look at those pen nibs you mentioned. Do you find that they last as long or longer than the originals?

Just buy the removable paper feel screen cover so you can remove it whenever you want and reapply when you are drawing....oh and its just $18USD

I just using it today and it feels rough almost like paper screen, it does blur up words but make sure to brighten up screen a lot. And, use Wacom one stylus, screen protector to protect your spen and screen.

I wanted to ask if the case itself gets scratches? One massive deal breaker from paper like screen protectors is that within a month they get full of scratches and diminishes the quality of the picture, forcing users to change it every few months. Did this case scratch with the S-pen?
@WIHRC2 жыл бұрын
I would say that the S-pen tip is more likely to degrade when being used with this case. Especially since the pen tips are made from cheap rubber now. The case can also be scratched but this would only happen if it comes into contact with a sharp object.

Does the clear screen cover fold all the way flat on the back? Kind of like a paper notebook cover? 📒

I ended up returning the case but I believe it did fold all the way back so it could lay flat.

Because there is that crowd that just adores only Apple products and that extends to the developers of accessory products as well. Get used to it. It's insane to me but if they choose to miss out on that big market potential that is their loss. I feel your pain Solvinter and we must just forge ahead without them.
