My tablet arrived after 1 day but the accessories (Keyboard Cover , Galaxy Buds, Trio Charger) took 2 weeks and samsung practically ignored me when I tried to contact them. Tablet is great, also my first time ever owning a tablet. Great video BTW, really enjoyed it 👍

The moment I saw your main unit packaging, I knew it straight away that you are from Malaysia. Because it is the only country where samsung packaged the keyboard book cover together. Elsewhere it is, they packed as an individual item.. so the box we have is unique for malaysia.. I have bought S8+ but I was lucky to receive mine on time.. may you enjoy 😉

Hello! I saw that the S7 FE was one of your options as well. Same goes for me! May I ask, what things made you finally decide on the S8? I know it's overall better but also waaay more expensive. I do have enough money for both but still want to think it through before deciding. So far do you think the S8 is worth it? Thank you!

Helloo! For me the latency of the pen is quite important. I wanted the S7 FE because it is fairly better than S6 series in a few aspects. As stated in the video i also am comfortable with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in which the S7 FE doesn't have. There are also aesthetic reasons to consider. But overall it went back to the price that i got for the newly launched S8 was not that different from a discounted S7 FE. So i thought it would be better to take the newly launched one. Do note that if the size of the screen is important to you, S7 FE has a much bigger one compare to S8. Since it is my first tablet I don't have anything to compare it with but I do think that it's worth the price. Depending on what you are using it for I suggest for you to also consider the tab S7 as it doesn't have much different from the current S8 (with most prominent different is the spen latency). S7 was on my list also but we don't have a stock for it here at the time. You can compare the specs online too. I usually use gsmarena website. Hope this answer your question!

In my case, I'll probably use it as a secondary work device alongside my laptop and for entertainment, art practice, and light video editing. I think this being said, the S8 should be a lot better since it has the latest processor. It's too sad though that the 128gb model of S8 isn't available here in our country, so I have to go with the 256gb if I choose to get it. Screen size is a factor but it isn't really a deciding factor for me, I think. It's will also be my first tablet like you so I don't think it matters much. Hopefully I can compare them in Samsung stores soon tho. If the S8 FE launches anytime soon it can be part of my options lol 😂 Anyways, really appreciate your response. Hi. I'm in the UK and ordered mine two days ago (Sunday) from Currys. I collected it today (Tuesday) but have not had opportunity to check it out as yet. I bought the 256GB version which is normally £699 but they have a 15% discount which made it £594.15. Samsung do not have in stock a keyboard cover nor a 45W charger. Disappointed that a charger is not supplied with it, poor show at that price. I also need to buy a glass screen protector.

Hello! No it doesn't unfortunately. I bought it separately. Yes it does support otg. I used that to tranfer files between my hard disk and the tablet. Other than that i also used OneDrive since it is much easier to move files between my laptop and the tablet. Hope this helps!

You meant opening an online radio through internet browser (e.g google chrome) right? If yes, i haven’t try any so im not sure if the screen will auto close (go through screen saver) or stays awake but usually it will not automatically stop

I'm not sure. I do think any fast charger that has an output power that are suitable with the tablet is fine to use but for the actual function of 'fast charging' im not sure if it is going to have any effects. You can try google it out if they have any open discussion about this or reach out to the samsung cs if needed any more confirmation!

no you can't, Samsung only recommends their own charger because each company charges in different ways, if you were to use that charger it would probably automatically be at a lower power

Hiii i think it is fairly easy to get use to. It’s not that much of a different compares to Apple’s. For drawing i would suggest you to search for the drawing app review you wanted to use on youtube. That would probably help you more in making decision!

yeah student card with id on it. i meant to say that if my student card expired i will not be able to use the student email also. i think they need the school email because the verification email to go to the education store website will be send through there :( but maybe you can try ask samsung customer service if there are any other ways to verify!

Yeah it does come with the free keyboard cover! I'm not sure if it is for pre-order only or not but you can always check their website. Usually when you're checking out your cart, they will list out if the purchase includes any freebies like the book cover. Or you can ask the Samsung CS for more information/ confirmation. Mostly because of budget constraint. I love both apple and samsung. They have their own pros and cons. But because I intend to use the tablet for simple things I don't want to go overboard with the price. No special reasons behind it 😂

I also got a tab s8 but the reason i got the tab s8 rather than the ipad pro is for multi tasking purposes and also for dex and since my laptop is broken i can connect my tab to my monitor and use it like a computer with dex mode. Also i tried to draw with both pens on physical stores and i like the rubber tip on the spen more compared to the hard plastic tip on the apple pencil. But my main reason is to save money because i got it preordered, i got the buds 2 and a keyboard case for free and also the spen comes free too. If i had gone with apple and got the apple alternatives of what i got from samsung, itll probably cost me around $1500+ if i convert it from i country’s currency. I got my tab s8 with all the freebies for $569. That would mean that if i had gone with apple, itll cost me $900 more. Plus when i got my tab s8, the only accessory i need to buy was a paperlike screen protector because mine came with tons of freebies already. My tab s8 can game well but not as good as the Ipad pro but it doesnt mean that the tab s8 sucks at games because i can still play genshin for 2 hours straight with only a little frame drops.

I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
