Got my s8 Plus 5G 3 months ago for art purposes by far the best experience,use it daily no issues I think it's absolutly worth it, I have a waccom for my pc but to go outside hike enjoy the views make Some art with it with no cables attached then this is for you

I have one with 5G and is still working great w/o problems. Nice long term review of the S8+. On the other hand I had the S9FE w/ 5G which lasted less than a year and Samsung said it's toast and gave me a refund. I just gotten the wi-fi only S9E and I'm tethering it to my phone's hotspot.

Still have my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+. Love it for my uses, just RSS feeds in the morning, then having a game to keep tabs on, and TV Show's and Movies when I'm traveling. So far haven't experienced any sluggishness with it, and will keep it till I do. Great battery life and love the screen. Sepakers are great too, but hardly use them haha. Good video as always.

​@adegiyan1918 I have the s8 ultra, yes it has the ai , but I haven't used it because you got to have a samsung account for order to used it, which I don't have a samsung account.

@adegiyan1918 no is free, I,m just too lazy to remember another set of password, etc. Samsung account is free. But the Ai is free to used but supposedly, they will charge Ai feature in the year 2025. I heard that the Ai isn't all that great to begin with. But the Ai is in the s8 and s9 line of tablets. And the latest s series and the z flip phones.

I love my S8+. I use it for surfing the net, reading and creating or editing documents. I considered upgrading to the S9+ and Ultra but there is no advantage to doing so. Many say the ultra is too big. I got the S8+ to replace my Surface Pro 4 but could not edit our church videos the way I wanted to. So I got another surface pro 4 just for that. But I figure im going to fully transition to the samsung ecosystem at some point. Im rocking the Z Fold 5 as well. I love the quick share app between my Phone and Tablet. I also love the screen splitting when using my Tablet.

I just ordered one. It's my first tablet in a long time since the 2nd or 3rd gen iPad. I currently use S22 Ultra and after 2 years it's still like new, both performance and battery wise. Knowing the tablet will be receiving major OS upgrades for the next 2 years is enough for me.

One question is the model number does it matter at all the when im getting is X800 what does that mean?

I think its something you have nothing to worry about. Sometimes the model number based on which countries they launched it.

I still have concern about the SoC since it's not one of Qualcomm's best product. If Samsung delayed the launch and gave it Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 like in the Z Fold4, then it could still be a worthy choice in 2024.

@@usmcson3 You can always check the specs. Also, unlike the Galaxy S smartphones that has two different SoC for different regions, Samsung keep the same SoC for every country with tablets and also foldables.
