Only problem with the AI "smart select" is that the gif maker is gone. I used that feature quite a bit. It needs to come back. Not really sure why a company would remove a popular feature.

Since updating, all sorts of things are broken. Facebook freezes, videos cannot be scrubbed through in chrome, text lagging when typing... general lagging. Can this be rolled back to a previous version?

As long as your version ends with AXH7 then you have the 6.1.1 Update. But it'll still state 6.1

S24s don't show 6.1.1, that's reserved for their fold and flip phones. But my S24 Ultra dev edition does show 6.1.1. As I ripped 6.1.1 off my fold and installed it to my s24 a while back.

I think it's especially not to be confused because basic updates 6.1.1 are intended for folding phones and not for S series so logically not to confuse in my opinion samsung to leave one ui 6.1 for series S and one ui 6.1.1 for series Z/F simply and please remember that Z/F series phones always came out with one ui which always ended with X.1.1 and S series always with one ui X.1 it's a question of strategy

Thanks for the info. Love your videos. I hate the stuff they did with smart select. This is so annoying. I use the smart select all the time and the gif thing was super useful. Wish they didn't go and change it! Some things just work super well and then they go and change it. 😅😮‍💨 it's better for some things there, but not as simple. The animation kinda makes it skip too.

@jspring86 I got a hold of Samsung again this was their response for RCS and wifi-calling : (RCS) :I appreciate you for waiting, I was able to check and found that the RCS chat feature is no longer available on the recent software update that's why it's no longer showing on your phone. However, since this is a high demand request from our customers, we only have this coordinated to our development team and hopefully on the next update, the feature will be available again. For the meantime, we're recommending to use Google message app that has RCS chat feature available. ((Wi-Fi Calling) Regarding with the Wi-Fi calling, since there's a software update happen to your phone, the Wi-Fi calling feature needs to re instate by your carrier as it was part of the service provided by your carrier and they are the only one who can re-activate it that's why it's not showing on your phone. We can recommend for you to contact your carrier about this to make sure that you can use the Wi-Fi calling feature again. has anyone else mentioned this to you 🤔?

@hannesh.3024 after every major update usually takes times for the phone to recalibrate. Clear cache partition can help
