I've had the 40mm rose gold watch for about a year and I love it. I went to T-Mobile to get a new watch that has its own line and I was torn with the choices, do I get the same watch, the 44mm Active2, or the Galaxy 3? I went with the 40mm rose gold again because it was the cheapest but I'm not afraid to pay more for what I want. That being said the rose gold Galaxy 3 was heavy and bulky. The Active2 is sleek with nothing to snag onto. I've never found mine comfortable to sleep with so charging it overnight has never been a problem. Customization and smooth transition of widgets aren't bad either.

@@IxisSlaughterMouth it’s one of the preinstalled watch faces, but you have to change the background - it is the animated, it’s called live background (or something like that) and before you set it up, go to edit and change the background to the blue flower

Used for nearly a year. Working great as should be for the price tag. But be mindful in using around water. Having 2 months spare of my warranty, had a rebooting issue with active 2 and never start it up. Samsung service confirmed some water leak which is not covered in the warranty. that's the end of story. no o fix, No matter what IP rating and even swimming workouts, should not believe this.

Crysis - another First Person Shooter but this one was considered to be graphically impressive for it's time & still looks decent to this day. I had the active 2 in rose gold, the 40mm, but I started having battery issues. I upgraded & went with the Galaxy 4 but like an idiot, I did the 'trade in' option thinking 'Why do I need something laying around that doesn't work?' Of course now I'm wishing I had kept it & just paid the extra $25.00, but since it's 'long gone', I'm looking for another active 2. The galaxy watch 4 is 'ok' but it's just not the same, I just liked my Active 2 better.

I've had my active 2 for about a year and am very dissatisfied with the step counter. Previously had a Fitbit II that died 13 months after purchase and no assistance from Fitbit as it "was out of warranty". I'm only getting about half the steps I would get on an average day compared to the Fitbit II. I've literally counted my steps walking 50-60 steps and it will only register 40. One time I tested it and walked 50 steps without it registering a single step. I guess I need to look for for a new option...

So I've worn the Watch 2 for couple months now and I tried thr waterproof...don't use it in the shower...I tried that and music sorta stopped working...you can have outside the shower sitting on the sink with the steam around it...I keep waterproof mode on most of the day and doesn't drain the battery much

Lithium Ion batteries are happiest when they are between 40-80% - you should never let a device die (or get to 100%) - you used to have to let devices die and then charge them to 100% so they could "learn" the battery but that's not a case with modern devices!

Well from what i heard and saw from alot of youtube viedos thats a no. U can still get calls and text message if u get the bluetooth. Your phone just have to be in a range of feet from u or near by you to receive those calls. LTE is only if u dont wanna carry ur phone around and leave it at home or in your car. But if you bring ur phone with you all the time than no. Dont worry i been researching myself cause i want one also lol im stuck from the 40mm and the 44mm.

I just want a watch which allows me to track my tween's whereabouts, make phone calls and text messages. Why is such a thing so hard to find? Heck, the best options for our needs all seem to look like something little children would wear. Our son currently has a Gizmo gadget watch. We can track him no matter where he is, and he cam make and receive phone calls and send limited pre-programed text messages, or send voice messages. This thing has been awesome. It's allowed us to give him a lot of freedom without worrying he's going to end up on the side of a milk carton. Unfortunately now that he's going into the 7th grade, we don't want him stuck wearing something that looks like a kids toy, but we're finding it impossible to find a smart watch with the same features that doesn't look like it was made by the Mattel toy company. If anyone knows of a good option, that isn't stuck on the Apple platform, because I have a Galaxy phone, then I'm all ears, (or eyes, as is needed here).
