@@ilda1377 Well, I apologize for being late. It's a practical phone. It fits securely in any pocket (except the back) since it folds so nicely. When it's folded it looks so unassuming. My girlfriend didn't believe it was a phone at first. I handed it to her just cautioning her to open it just until it was flat. She was amazed with how the screen looked. She said it was sharper than her Galaxy S21. The camera is more than sufficient and takes superb pictures. I can't tell the pictures apart that were taken with my Note20 Ultra, Note10 Plus and this Z Flip 3. It's a solid phone with a personality.

I like it too. My HUGE block is giving up my Note20 Ultra. I have no idea how the Note can come back next year. Will they trim all the extras (SD card, 8K recording, MSD) and cut S Pen features so you'll have to buy the external S Pen Pro? The S Pen in the Note20 already does everything and fits inside the phone.

Yah I agree I was in the market for both but I personally decided to just get the flip, it’s cheaper but more than anything I love how compact it is. The fold is just a massive chunk lol. Basically holding a brick lmao but more than anything I really didn’t see myself spending the $1500 even though it’s gone down in price. And I could have picked it up for cheaper with a trade in. But I bought the z flip 3 256gb discounted with a trade in. So honestly I’m so damn excited I can’t wait. Trading my 12 pro max for it 🥵🥰

@@mhytr4366 well i am 3 months in now, i am not a heavy user. Battery life is not grewt, but for me more then enough. Its a S21 what can fold. Also the screen is longer bit a little bit smaller. Holding the Phone is even easier because of it. Screen is still fine, no problems or issues at all.

@@Onymuse hi well the durability is good if not phenomenal…since the flap is closed most of the times the screen tends to wear out less irrespective in ur car pocket or even in ur bag. But yes u need to be a little careful with ur nails while using the phone screen it MAY scratch but till now I don’t have any such issues so I would certainly vouch for u picking up set blindly for sure. It won’t disappoint. Good luck …

The promos are not bad at all, even the phone carrier promos for ATT and Tmobile are good. $1k trade in credit towards a Flip3 or Fold3 and 50% off on some of the samsung stuff when you buy the new fold/flip. The new $80 case that includes the S Pen Fold edition goes down to $40. I think ATT also had a buy 3 samsung accesories and get 30% off or something like that. Basically the Fold3 went from $1800 to $800. Or $50 a month down to $27 a month, but of course paying taxes up front as with any phone. The flip on the other hand went from $27 a month down to $0 and just paying the taxes upfront lmao!! Since its a $1k phone and get a $1k credit 🤣

Cover display is the most important thing on a foldable flip phone. Not having a good one and it's worthless. You are forced to keep opening your phone to do certain tasks.

Hence why i find the flip itself to be straight up backwards thinking compared to the fold. Being forced to open the flip phone for all your stuff is a pain in the ass which is why the brick phone exists and became commonplace. Its like in the 1st Avengers film Nick Fury having the damn eye patch and having screens on the left and right, and Tony is like “how tf does he even see these”….he turns… “sounds exhausting” 🤣 The fold3 makes more sense however the outer screen needs to be a bit wider overall, because its still as thin as the Fold2, while the outer screen of the Fold3 should be the size of the Flip3 inner screen. At the very least im glad Samsung is working with 3rd party apps on the Fold3 to make the apps nice and seamless when opened up unlike how its been with the past 2 iterationS

I Remember those flip phones from 2005 which we had as kids. Smaller than a flat chunky 6' flagship smartphone. The fingerprint reader should be built into the screen (2021). Wonder how long those folding screen little protectors will last and if they will come of easily, especially with what goes on in our pockets (wallet, keys, pens, etc). But it's awesome to see Samsung AGAIN bring out flip phones. Yay!

@@EdoApple Oh it’s an awesome phone. I’m actually trading it in to get the Z Flip4 to try that out. Only issue is I ordered a customized Bespoke Z Flip4, so I gotta wait for them to build the phone with my color preference, so it’ll be a month lol. My two gripes with the Flip are battery and app optimization. Apps like Tik Tok cut off some video due to aspect ratio, and battery is hopefully improved on Flip4. Otherwise solid 9/10 phone, very fun and unique with still great camera and great processor

Almost bought one yesterday but even Verizon couldn't answer this question. I listen to many podcasts on KZbin, Spotify and Audible for long periods of time. If there is no power button per se (bixby only) and if closing the clam puts it into sleep mode, then it will shut off all my programs I'm listening to on my bluetooth earbuds. Is the only way to listen to those apps with the phone open then? If the screen on stays on in my pocket, Ill for sure butt dial you! Is there any way to turn off the screen like my LG V60 to put in your pocket and still listen to app programming? I suppose in the future they could offer front screen support for apps, podcasts, audio books etc, but can't buy this if there is no way to control the open screen or a way like my laptop that you can tell the device what you want it to do when you close it?

Flip4 they should make 2nd display bit more bigger, maybe punch hole for rear cameras and a full display for flip side. Then usees will be opening the phone to use secondary screen only when needed and most task should be done in outer display only.

I’d love the z flip 3 as the design and aesthetic are stunning. However the lack of upgrade on the camera and small battery are a no no for me. I own the s21 ultra and it’s a beast in every way, but the size is the only issue for me. That’s why I was hoping that the hardware on the z flip would be better. S21 Ultra is in a different class so I agree with you.

@@xboxgamerz22 if you aren’t interested in the downgrade of many things but love the new aesthetics of the Flip then yes do it as it’s a gorgeous phone. However if you want better specs, camera quality and battery then no.

I got a S21 ultra and really enjoy it. The build quality is really not so great though. It’s irritating to see even though you use a strong case like an otter box that the paint has chipped after I basically just bought it.
