Owned it for about 3 weeks Samsung has the worst customer service they tried to charge me 600 to fix it I fought it and they did it under warranty sold it and went back to iPhone. Regardless of that story hands down best phone I have ever had it’s just I can’t have an unreliable phone for the amount I use it Can’t confirm if this guy is cap or not but it happened to me

Doubt. I've used the Z Flip, and everyone else I know that has one had issues just like me. Dead pixels, dead batteries, a trillion micro-scratches. Doesn't matter how much you baby it, these things will die without ever being dropped. Buy one if you don't plan on keeping it longer than a year.

Mine did the same thing and I never dropped it or nothing it came apart at the hinge and messed up the screen and I took it to the Samsung store and the employee opened it fast after I warned him and he made it worse . I have the same case this guy has and I'm convinced that the case caused the problem because it binds when its fully open and touches the hinge I'm actually going to trim my case to prevent it from binding

@@TheSuperquad12 same happened with mine but mine took a little fall and I had case on it and a screen protector and the hinge was missed up on one of the sides so now I can still flip it but I just have to flip it half way and then put the hinge back in place then continue to flip it open. So call Samsung directly and tell them that it has a manufacturer defect and they will fix it . Mine pushed out at the hinge point then the screen messed up but I'm not sure yet but I think the case is causing the problem I noticed how the case pushes and binds where the hinge part is and I think it's what caused the problem with mine so I'm actually going to trim the case to prevent the binding problem

If it was not damaged, that would be covered under an in-warranty repair. They do it once per phone in case of a defective screen, and it takes 72 hours to process, they wipe your phone in the meantime to cover their bases in case a software modification causes issues pairing the new screen.
