Can't believe they basically replace the entire phone. No wonder it's so expensive to fix the hinge or screen.

I just changed the screen, for one just like this one but after starting it soon turns off the screen as if it were closed, any solution?

hi if the screen model number is not correct this will be a problem. check again USA or EU devices are different from each other.

You can get it from authorized spare parts dealers. you should pay attention because the USA and EU screens are different

American Z flip 4, I don't have a replacement screen but the phone im working on used to work, then got a line down the screen, then 2 days later it went black. I'm trying to see if its the magnet thats causing the issues. Ive tried soft restart and screen stayed black, I have taken the phone apart and checked the cables, now I think its the magnet.

@@flomakinas no I didn't, I tried everything. Unfortunately its a defect I couldn't fix.

Did you just replace the glass on the screen or were you able to find the lcd/digitizer pieces as well?

Thanks for the response. I had bought my flip 4 second hand and unfortunately the warranty doesn't apply. I've replaced the lcd/digitizer on a samsung s22 ultra but felt the flip 4 would of been out of my realm of being fixed by myself. When closed the lcd screen works but when I open it I get nothing but a black screen. Of course it worked fine for the 2 weeks I had it. But I was baffled as to why the main screen wouldnt work as there's not a single scratch on the phone. So I have a really expensive paperweight lol. But watching this video it seems pretty straight forward. Taking all the internals from one device and move them to a new lcd/digitizer screen. I'm sure there's a lot more involved that just removing screens, using adhesive to seal the back plates back to the front screen etc... man i miss the days where you could just remove the battery backing and start unscrewing everything. I do have a heat pad (much like the blue rubber mat you used to perform the replacement pieces. I just know that the heat has to be just right otherwise I could burn the whole thing up. Thanks for the video though. Also finding replacement parts (lcd screen and digitizer) can also be a pain if you don't have a VAT code.

same thing happened with my z flip 4 but still had warranty so they replaced everything for free including the battery.soo crazy @@acuralee

почему после замены экрана он не включается экран??? изображение есть, но как только он загружается до рабочего стола гаснет и не включается, перезагружаю, надпись самсунг и как только появляется рабочий стол тухнет.

I don't understand what you mean exactly. Did you mean the rear screen? You can do this without inserting the battery, but you should always be careful. Or can you ask your question in German, Turkish or English?
