First test screen/touch with no glue minimum 10 minutes (samsung testing code), if everything fine, add glue and assembly screen.

my J7 2017 oled screen is damaged again ;), it s darkening wildly from a new side of the screen, local repair who replaced it, told me its my mistake though i have no sign of impact anywhere. I think it s totally plausible that the oled thin film wasnt perfectly packaged and so air is slowly getting in but whatever. I have 2 questions : 1. When you buy a "samsung original part", it s guaranteed ? (local repair told me it s not) 2. Where can i find those ? all i find on the net is LCD generic screen, not even sure its oled or amoled

Dj, if it has contact with any kind of liquids, you don t need an replacement :) to start! First of all you need to perform an ultrasonic cleanning of the motherboard and all the components and after that you can see if you need to replace something else. Wish you good luck!

@@MovilonePhoneRepair I have a question, I have a j7 2017 and my screen broke. Is there much of a difference between cheaper assembly kits and original samsung certified displays? Btw, all the local phone shops offer to fix it for around 150 euros and 1 said 110 euros. The phone itself costs 204 (new!) Dont you think asking for 150 is way too much then when I could buy a new one for 50euros more?

@@ptte7010 Yes and no; if you know how to fix it; you can get the kit for 29$ from ebay and do it yourself. I work in a repair store, and the main issue with these cheap phones is most people A.) Don't try to fix them because they are cheap, and B.) We don't have product availability because the demand isn't there. If your phone is to take our tech bench time, we have to get paid to do it. Just the way it goes.
