The biometric selection prompt is in OneUI 3.1 too (at least on my Note 20 Ultra) but only on my AIA app; the rest only use fingerprint. I'm not sure why, but I confirm the AIA app can use both fingerprint and face recognition stored in Samsung's biometrics Settings.

Battery charge cycles is, Each cycle is the percentage of charge. If you are at 50% and charge to 89%,the cycle was at 90%. This means 90% + 10% and the remainder goes to the next cycle as 29%. This is more related to discharge as you use your phone.

I'm happy to report that those camera shutter functions finally work properly with the latest update. They've been in for a while but half the time didn't work in portrait and rarely worked in landscape. Every attempt would lead to just creating a floating shutter button.

JIMMY! Ur channel is what made me decide to get the Note20 Ultra! I've been in bets for the past few weeks/months and I REALLY want Samsung to add that SAME ANIMATION shown in ur video when it's looking for face recognition. The small circle around the display lens. That should be a SAMSUNG option for notifications. It used to be available in Good Lock but now we have to use a 3rd party app like AOD NOTIFY But it would be much better to keep it all in house. The reason that limiting the charge to 85% helps is that modern Lithium ion (and others) have a finite number of charge cycles built in from the factory. Charging from 0 to 100% uses 1 wear cycle while charging to 85% only uses a quarter cycle. I don't quite get the math but that's how it works.

It just puts much more strain on the battery when charging to 100%. And thus causes much more wear. Just the chemistry of lithium ion batteries. I've had my S20 Ultra for 2 full years now and it's only seen about 6 or 7 charges to 100%. I usually unplug it at 60-70%, sometimes 80%, and plug it in at 20-25%. My battery health is still at 100%. It's crazy

@@SheerMayhem wow,that's great on an S series,which are notorious battery hogs. Android 12 has that option built in to charge to 85% and quit. My new S21 has lousy battery life. I still only charge it to 85% but I'm a 'power user' (buzzword that means addicted to my phone) so I'm on it all the time. I've driven the S series often since the S3. Most have been battery hogs. The S7 was the worst. I've had 3 of them, replaced the battery (which isn't a simple job on those) even sought out real OEM batteries, because 90+%of amazon and ebay's OEM batteries are cheap knock offs. Still didn't help. As a contrast, the T mobile Revvl 4 + I'm typing this on and usually only use as a media center controller, it will last days on a charge, even if I am using it.

@@mrequi1 you can adjust your settings to save a decent amount of battery power. There are youtube videos to guide you with that. I haven't had any issues with battery life since I had my Note 5 in 2016-2017. That phone started out decent but quickly went to shit in less than 1 year for some reason. It was still light-years better than the S3 and S4 though. My Note 8, Note 9 and current S20 Ultra all had plenty of battery to spare after a full day.

Theme park/ quick panel will change the colors for you if that's what your looking for.
