@ It’s a bit tricky to give you an exact comparison of how loud this might be yet if you ever heard an acoustic drum set and how loud it gets, you can play along just fine with these speakers around you. This could play the role of a PA system in sense of power if you like listening to music and jamming along. Personally, that’s partly what I use it for amongst other things. I have noticed the first 50% of volume increase being more impactful than the second half up to 100% yet nonetheless if this thing is running full blast, you are not having a conversation anywhere near it lol You aren’t going to be over 50% volume in my opinion when watching movies from 15ft away with the rears so close to you. I usually keep it at 20-45% depending on blu-ray versus streaming audio quality and how into the movie you want to be lol

Should the back speakers be poi ted towards where your ears would be, rather than straight forward? I have this soundbar. I unfortunatly sit to the right of my sofa with little room at the back to vreate distance. So it creates its own sound bubble. If i sit dead in the middle and sit up, the sound is much better. Still trying to tweak, but so far, im liking it.

Bro why are your rears so close to the couch , space them out , mine are about 5 feet from the couch ends and their still so loud

Yeah, I’m still working on the entire layout optimization. You’re absolutely right, gives it more of that surround sound effect if it’s sitting unobstructed from all angles! Even with this current layout it’s epic! lol

Could you please share the input source you used? Was it Blu-ray? Also, is it using ARC or eARC? Additionally, could you provide details about your room size and subwoofer placement? I'm considering purchasing this soundbar, but I'm concerned about the quality of the bass and sound. Some reviews mention that it’s not a very powerful soundbar and suggest not expecting much from it.

@@krishnacreator I’m using the eArc HDMI setting. It seems to work the best when using your TV remote to control the volume automatically syncing. Seems to be the suggested connection source when I read online. My seating area for the movie is roughly 12 x 15’ at the basement expands to 36 feet and even from back there when listening to music it is more than loud enough for a party. You can see in the video the sub placement in front of my couch on front right corner. It does what I’m looking for personally. I’ve just maxed out the sub settings. Ultimately, it depends on your TV screen for the distance at which you should be seated. I wouldn’t be too concerned about the distance versus the speaker performance. I would suggest check out an audio store and test it out before purchasing it that way you’re sure to know if it meets your requirements. Everyone has their own individual preferences yet if you test it out at the store you’ll have a good idea of what this sound bar can do. For my requirements and bang for Buck, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

@@Realeyes1313 Thanks for the detailed information. What about the content you are using-is it OTT or Blu-ray? Are the soundbars supporting high-resolution audio, like the IMAX Enhanced format? I’m considering using a combination of Bravia 7 and HW-Q990D.

IMAX Enhanced Support: • Lack of IMAX Enhanced Certification: The HW-Q990D does not explicitly support IMAX Enhanced audio formats. IMAX Enhanced is a certification and licensing program that combines high-end audio and video standards; devices require specific certification to ensure compatibility. Additional Features: • Dolby Atmos and DTS:X: The soundbar supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats, providing immersive surround sound experiences.  • HDMI 2.1 Support: With HDMI 2.1 ports, the HW-Q990D allows for 4K at 120Hz passthrough, making it suitable for high-definition video and gaming setups. I’m a little disappointed with the subwoofer so far

@@bigdave5946 If you max out the subwoofer settings and you keep it near your seating area I think it should definitely be doing the job. I have the subway for 15 feet away from me in a corner and I still feel the vibrations in my chest lol There are definitely better subwoofers out there but as a package it’s got some great punch
